I'm getting really sick of all the spam thats coming in on these boards. I've added a few mods in the past to try and cut down on it, but they really haven't helped all that much. Right now, I am adding about 4-5 new mods to help curtail the spam. If any of these mods cause you any problems AT ALL when you try to post a legitimate message, please let me know. While I want to get rid of spam, that comes secondary to making sure that real users are not inconvenienced.
One of the changes that has been implemented is that guests will no longer be able to post urls to websites. If you would like to post a site url as a guest, please write the url without an http or www in front, and I will manually convert it to a clickable url after checking it. Logged-in users will not have any restrictions on their ability to post urls.
