Your scariest story ?

I'd like to hear it.

READ at Night, alone.

Well here is one from my friend I heard about last night.

This is a real story and it gave me the chills.. lol maybe it wont for you :(

It was 1995 and my friends father went to go to see his old grandmas shack. Mind you this is a large shack that someone can live on, think of a studio but rustier. Annnyyways, so he is so scared of going there because it hasn't been intact for awhile and he hasn't really talked to his old grandma for awhile. He decides to bring a friend along with him and as he enters the shack he sees two middle coffins side by side together. He is soo scared that he decides not to even open them up, as he fears to see what might be inside. Curiosity does that to you.

He finds boxes that are old, dusts them off and they read "caution, human remains inside".. and if it can't get any worse..

His friend and him look around some more and find the bed, which is covered in fresh blood (around 3-4 days old) along with some shackles connected to the frame. His friend and him leave, scared to hell and just forget about the whole thing. My friend got to see the pictures when he was older, he said it was like out of a horror movie.

Not really scary just cool. Was about 7 years ago I was in Glacier Nation Park with this chick. The fire was dieing down and I had an air mattress in the bed of my pickup. So we laid down and got to more adult things. After all that it was about 2am, when I heard this odd sound. Now I've hunted game before and heard all sorts of predators. This sounded like nothing I've ever heard before. What I heard was heavy splashing down by the creek near by. Then as I got out of my truck and went closer I heard what I could only describe as a combination of a Grizzly bear growling, a Howler monkey howling, and a Hyena calling. Only this was loud, very loud. After hearing this I un-clipped my .454 and had it ready. Then I heard the splashing start up and go away really fast. That was the end of that. I come back to the truck and the chick is locked inside shaking lol. She asked and pleaded with me if I was the one that made that noise and I told her "No. I heard splashing, went to check it out and whatever it was made that noise. Then it ran off." She believed me because I still had my .454 in my hand. At the crack of dawn she wanted out of there, and fast.

I've heard some crazy stuff hunting and backpack camping but nothing like that before or since.

and its reasons like the above that I avoid Rural areas, I just always get this sense I'm being watched by something I can't see.

worst I have is being picked up from school and being told that my dad was in the hospital with pneumonia and had also managed to have himself a little heart attack from the stress of still working.

Sadly, its not as scary but from his point of view it had to of been terrible. He grew up in the 70's and lets just say prescription pain killers and whatnot seem to have very little effect on him, they had enough stuff in him to keep someone 3 times his size down and he was still waking up daily. The worst one was when they had the tube down his throat and he woke up and decided he didn't want to be there so he de-tubed himself and started to get up, thankfully the staff noticed.

It's been a quite a few years since then, and he's still as resilient as ever.

I should stop posting via Mobile, I keep botching my posts.

When I was 14 I went on a trucking trip with my uncle. One day on the trip early in the morning we were passing by this dirt road and by this point we hit the county, as we were going down the road I seen police lights going off and when I looked to see what was going now what I saw was a violent car crash with the car warped around a oak tree, the passengers face was imbedded in the oak tree and the driver was...well you can say he now has a promising career on Two and a Half Men as the Half Man.

I was surprised how far his upper body got from that car.

I have a story like that one but it involves a train and in some parts a lot worse than this story.

Got pretty much zilch to tell basically. Only can share a couple of "close calls" and such.

Got hit by a car last year whilst riding my bike to the train station. Ended up with my back on a grass patch on the side of the road. Nothing broken, contorted, sprained or whatever. Was a bit pissy that my headphones came off and were lying in the grass whilst it was raining pretty damn hard. Ended up getting some water behind my laptop screen as well when I tested it(it ended up fine as well, no scratches or anything. Eastpak bags are bretty gud yo). After I and the driver exchanged personal info, apologized to each other and bid each other a good day I then made my way to the train station to catch my train to college. In the train I then found out I got a tiny bleeding scratch on my ankle and a slight bruise somewhere else. Other than that I was fine.

My brother once got hit by a car when he came out of school. Hard. We were both quite young back then so I didn't know at first what happened nor did I witness it(was in the car doing something else). Ended up with nothing. Literally nothing wrong with him, no bruises, contortions, sprains, broken bones, nothing. He just took a two day break in the hospital whilst doing **** all.

Me and my former ladyfriend once played chicken with an oncoming tram in Rotterdam during a school trip. Ended up pulling her off the tracks just as the tram was about 5 meters away from her. Scared the crap out of me.
Another story involving aforementioned ladyfriend was one during a casual IM chat. At one point she said her lights went out. When they came back on her bed was moved a couple of centimeters away from the wall. Scared the crap out of her and made me question the legitimacy of her claim.

and that children is my boring life.

Eh, I have nothing really "spooky" to tel me. Jack, ****, nada...although....

I was camping up in the Redwoods a few years back, it was in a motor-home, one of the big ones. So I was in bed when suddenly the motor home shook back and forth with immense intensity and a growl the likes of which I have never heard came from outside. Keep in mind, this one of those huge family motorhomes, and whatever was shaking it had to be really, really ****ing strong. It happened one other time in the night of which my Grandfather went out to see what it was, found the entire bike rack that these things come with ripped straight off, and through out the night there were "pelts' like rocks or the like being thrown at the Motor home, at dawn we packed up the bike-rack inside and got the hell out.

My grandfather said he recognized the sound from where when he worked in and around Yellowstone, apparently a cabin in the middle of nowhere was vandalized to such an extent that there were large pipes and wiring ripped straight from under the ground with insane strength, when he spent the night to try and catch the little bastards, he heard a similar growl, and heavy footsteps outside his window.

Say what you will about Cryptids, Bigfoot or any of that ****, but to this day, I cannot for the life of me explain what happened then, and it still scares me. No bear in California can shake a Motorhome with that much force or cleaning tear off a mounted Bike-Rack from a Motorhome with no sign of claw marks, especially not a Black Bear. So take all this with a lick of salt...
