Hi.

Love the videos - couldn't stop laughing after watching the first AMV Hell - but something's kind of funny with the versions of AMV Hell 3 I download. When I play it back through DivX or Windows Media Player, there are these kinda blocky shapes that keep popping up.

I've tried both the links on the download page, but it seems to happen with both. I'm sorry if this is something super-simple, but it seemed like asking here first would be the smart thing to do.

Odd. You might have an old or bad decoder installed. Try using VLC player, or try installing this: http://www.cccp-project.net/

Well, I tried the VLC player and it didn't fare any better. But. . . um . . . now it won't play on anything. When I try to open it with DivX I get the message "This file does not appear to have a video track."

Guess I'm cursed . . . or incompetent.

You could always try http://hellninjacommando.com/defilerpak/ to get the defiler pack and use Media Player Classic, or vlc. I have had similar issues with VLC and BS player before using DIVX. And for those of you who may not know. Media Player Classic is in no way related to Windows Media Player. Google will help you.

The problem was solved by using a less crappy BitTorrent client; my bad.
