I was just wondering what everyone thought of the advertisements that we are currently running on the site?

It's necessary to have some ads in order to cover the costs of the web hosting, but at the same time I don't want it to get to the point that it's annoying people or driving them away.

For a while now I have had the adbrite text ads on the site, and recently added them to the forum. They don't perform too well, and I am considering removing them or replacing them with something else in the future.

I recently added the j-list ads on the main site, and they are doing pretty decent. I thought the content is also something that many visitors of this site would also be interested in. Some of the ads might be a bit racy though, so does this offend anyone or perhaps make anyone a bit nervous to visit the site? They have some more tame ads I could put up if it's a problem.

Really they don't bother me. And yes I understand you need ads to keep the site up and running. Some of them, however, may make a few people nervous (ages 13-under), but they won't really be looking at them too much if they come here to talk on the forums.

more ads, no one cares lol, every site has adds, and if they are non-profit, they need all the cash they can get. i didnt think it possable but my site has maybe 2 times the members, tiny bit more active cause we update things weekly/monthly and yearly for different parts, we now have an admin we can pay monthly, every 2 months, can pay other people for voice acting ect.(wich i may be employing for amv hell4 clips cause they sound just like the dub) and we are this month reciveing a check for a really nice sum from an ad that we have when it gets high enough they send it out, if you want any help/ideas or some foots in doors for advertizements plz contact me at my msn, im always on msn for people and check aol once a month, i really dont mind helping ya cause we are in the same boat in alot of things, so dont think yer buggin me.
