Ok, so I thought it might be neat if AMV Hell 4 could have its own opening theme! We want you to create a piece about 1:30 or shorter in length that you feel captures the essence of AMV Hell. It can be any type of music you want: rap, rock, maybe even a techno track featuring sound samples from previous AMV Hells!
One of the entries will be used for the opening sequence of AMV Hell 4. Unless of course, all the entries suck, in which case we might just say to hell with it. Any pretty decent entries we get will also be included on the new AMV Hell DVD that will be released.

Update: Sorry I didn't make this clear before, but all entries should be related to AMV Hell in some way or another. So basically, don't just send in some generic audio track that you made, this should be specifically for AMV Hell.

That's cool! I have a friend that may upload a few samples. I may too if I get the time to make some. Quick question though, sometimes when I email music files it fails to send. Is it okay if we upload through the FTP server if this problem occurs?

hmm, thinking of doing this for sure, i been mixin for years, and only put out HQ and 320kbps.... but i got a question in reguards to this cause if i do this im going all out(i want this spot pretty bad) what is the main thing you want us to go after, when i see amv hell im thinking techno and hard rock and some random beat song with 100 differnt change ups... and even polka... i want to ask "what is the #1 thing you want to hear?" and ill try to go from there.

I'm really not all that sure what I'm looking for myself. I do think it would probably be really cool if there were references to previous stuff that was in AMV Hell. As I said in the first post, maybe just something like using sound clips from the videos... or maybe even writing a song about corn or something! Who knows...

One thing to think about though is that it will be used for the opening theme, for showing the opening credits and probably some kind of video footage will be edited to it, so try to make sure it would be reasonably decent to use for that purpose.

It's a shame more people haven't found this thread yet. I'll see if I can find a friend who knows something about audio production...

i'm a last minute wander (so my girlfriend says) :oops: and wanna procrastinate until the very last moment before i'm allowed to.


also before I make any drastic mistakes... i'm aware that you guys have no shame in offending any diverse culture (besides avoiding white people cause we're scury) but are there any lines you would prefer not to cross in the intro? i'd hate to be denied my rights cause i made someone cry :(

That's not very smart. Say there was a connection error and you weren't able to submit it on time, or there was a minor error in your song (or clips if you are planning on submitting videos). Submit them as soon as possible or you'll be PISSED OUT OF YOUR MOTHERF***ING MIND! xD
