Welcome to the brand new AMV Hell website! Although it may look familiar, a lot has changed under the hood, and you should notice a lot of nice new features, such as the new Video Directory. A few things may be broken at first, but just give me a few days to get everything back up and running again.

Also, as was previously announced on April 1, I am launching a brand new project called AMV Minis! It will operate much like AMV Hell has, but each "episode" will only be around 5 minutes in length. Not only will this make the turnaround time for new episodes MUCH faster, but it also drastically decreases the workload on my part. I'll be releasing more details in the near future, so hang tight!

Now, going back to the site, it seems that users will have to restore their avatars and signatures, as these were not converted correctly from the old forum. For signatures, you must use BB code to load your images.

I dont know if its somewhere in the settings or not, but I have to keep changing the thread list preferences every time I go to a different forum section (need to change its sorting). May be another thing that should be worked on when you can get around to it.

Well, abys, there's not much Zarx can do about that. This is a completely different system, it would probably take more time than zarx has to make a replica of the old layout. I, for one, have been here for quite some time, so I'm used to it.

Well in any case, it was necessary to change the forum software because the old one was impossibly difficult to keep updated, and having out of date forum software is just begging for everyone's accounts to be hacked.

Vbulletin is used by a large number of websites but if you don't frequent any other sites which use this software then it might take some getting used to. I think it's really nice once you get to know it. If you have any concrete suggestions to make things better then I am all ears.

Either way I'm sure I'll get used to it and I'm sure it's a better system for administrators but I still don't think it's very intuitive, as for suggestions I'll wait for you sort out all the bugs before trying on that one

I think it was easier, when the threads in each topic were sorted by the time of last post, allways having the newest at top.

I think Abyss has a point, but this is on purpose, I'm sure.

I may be, that I'll get used to it, but it'll most likely be deadly annoying long before that.

Wow Zarxrax! I'm amazed to see the project relaunching.

I've been addicted to AMV Hell vids for a long time now. I typically run them while I'm at the office to keep me in a good mood.

I was just here not even a month ago, and it was still the same old stuff. I stop by the site today to see what anime a clip was from, and I find a completely new site. The change is highly unexpected but very highly appreciated.

I'll be letting all my friends know that the project is back up and running. I look forward to seeing new works.

P.S. Please let us all know if you need anything. I'm sure there is a lot of work involved, so make sure you use all the members as needed. :)

My Company offers LAN Parties at about 10 Anime/SciFi events in and around Florida. I will always have AMVs, Music Videos, or full length movies running at some events too. Your AMV Hell has been a hit and we are proud to keep premiering it at these events. The AMV Hell series is always a hit and I was looking to list our future dates but I see your calender is not working. Is there a way I could list these events here for guests to see and perhaps they would wish to seek us out at Conventions to view their favorite episodes of AMV Hell?
