I only have a 3ds at the moment. I can't do any poke transfers or anything. Eventually I hope to transfer some of my epic pokemon from the third generation. I have my other two pokemon games and my ds at home. My sister has pearl so eventually I hope to get all the G/S starters, charmander, all the legendary dogs, and some other pokemon onto my black version. To bad I can't trade or battle anyone with a 4th generation game.

Sadly, my friend deleted my save file in Emerald. I had all of my good Pokemon in there. Level 100 Sceptile, Blaziken, and Charizard: Gone
Another friend borrowed Pearl and deleted my save: Level 100 Staraptor and Empoleon: Gone.

Needless to say, I no longer lend out games like this.

Yeah, lvl 100 is hard work. I've never had the patience to do that. I'd aways get near lvl 80 and give up.

I've only ever played Red/Yellow/Blue.
But I consider them to be some of the greatest games GB games ever.
Maxed all my pokemon out.

I never tried any of the releases after that.
I began despising the pokemon beyond 151.
Maybe just to much turdwig. http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/c/c9/387.png

I sympathize with you. I never really wanted to play another game after leaf green. I thought the game was so good, it could never be topped. After hearing so many good things about Black and White I finally caved. I don't regret the decision, they are some of the finest games I have ever played in the life. And just like how I fell in love and began to despise some of the first (and 2nd and 3rd) generation pokemon in leaf green, the same has happened in black.

Pokemon-related, the only game I ever owned was Emerald, and I've been playing it ever since I was 10, as it was the only game for my Nintendo SP I ever owned. I'm currently with only about 4 maxed out non-legendary pokemon, but around 35 others over lvl. 75...
I just never bought any other pokemon games after that mainly because;
a) too poor/lazy to buy a DS (I've always loved the SP design, personally, and didn't care much about the new games at the time)
b) Never liked the new pokemon; they always got more geometrical, boring and half-assed to me...

but the truth is the truth.
black and white isn't anything special it didn't do anything to enhance the franchise.

I was looking on Bulbapedia. It turns out that all the regions except Unova or relatively close to each other. Kanto through Sinnoh are based off regions Japan were Unova is based off of New York. I hope in the next gen they base it off the bay area, there are literally Jungles in San Francisco. One thing I noticed in playing black is the lack of magicarp. There is one that someone sells really sly. Maybe its a comment on the infestation of Asian carp in the Mississippi River?

I still have blue, red, yellow, stadium 1&2, snap, silver, emerald, platinum, soulsilver, and white. Sadly blue and red's internal battery have ran out so they don't work. Maybe yellow will be next to kick the bucket.

A new Pokemon Snap with all 649 pokemon would be perfect for the Wii U.

Scorchedenigma

none of those actually xD its extremely hard to explain the process but its RNG manipulation. in a nutshell i looked for the exact pokemon i wanted in the game, then made it appear... i realize im not explaining it well so ill try to make it a little simpler. i found out when a shiny pokemon would appear, then i moved the game to that point. no hacking is involved at all so every pokemon i have is 100% legit

trust me, the chance never changes with wild pokemon. you can increase your chances quite a bit with breeding though.

Scorchedenigma
02-19-2012, 05:45 AM
well.... you would have to kinda know the process. if you really wanted to learn you should start with breeding shinys. its not anywhere near as complicated, and when you figure it out you'll have some idea of what you're actually doing when you get into seeds and delays. add me on steam and ill tell you about it =P

jinzo64

This might turn out well. I'm hoping it will, at least. If anything, I'm just glad that Nintendo is trying something a little different this time. Of course, I'm kind of assuming that this might just be a slower and more complicated version of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, but that could be a good thing or a bad thing.

These types of games often have balancing issues of some sort. Of course, I'm pretty sure a lot of Pokemon games already have balancing issues. Also, I'm pretty sure you could bring down Darkrai with a few combined attacks. Just have your fire types swarm it and you're probably good to go.

I'm gonna go ahead and be the unpopular guy and propose the following: If you have rightfully purchased the game then what reason is there not to buy a flash cart and give yourself the Pokemon you cannot acquire or otherwise cheat?

There is no point in wasting countless hours power-leveling a Pokemon to become as strong as your others. Want to find a shiny really badly? Boom, you got it. Want the Pokerus? Boom, got it. Don't feel like constantly checking for limited-time wi-fi offers? Don't. Pokemon has become a drug like an MMORPG nowadays (plus you won't even get as much as the kiddies in Japan). There's a certain point where you're spending too much time on it.
