I have added Tapatalk support to the forums. Tapatalk is a (paid) [edit: now free] app for your iPhone or Android device that makes browsing forums much easier than through a mobile web browser. You should be able to access the forum by searching for "amv hell" within the Tapatalk app.

I'd never tried it before, but it's actually pretty neat. Seems to run smooth enough.
It definitely makes posting easier and it even has some moderation tools available through it.

VBulletin's default mobile browser is horrible. It's difficult to navigate, the interface is cluttered and there's not even an option for bbcode. Moderator options are difficult to navigate to, let alone use. Not to mention it's littered with the case of "big finger small button" problems. I don't use the default mobile browser and never plan to.
After trying out Tapatalk, it's surprisingly full featured. It even has a free automated image upload service you can use directly from your phone to post images.
The only thing it lacks is an ability to view the chatbox(which is expected, as that's an add-on), but for forum browsing it works exceptionally.

I find this hardly news worthy.
If it wasn't announced, no one would know. Or in your own words.

Id rather see it related towards site content then a measly mobile feature thats pretty much redundant especially on todays full featured browsers on mobile phones. As for the mobile theme that **** is completely fixable and editable if you wanna complain about it then request one that suits your needs.

I happen to have great phone with a "full featured browser". But this site is not designed to be viewed from a phone and has a whole mess of awkward problems when navigating and posting by touch screen.

As for the mobile theme that **** is completely fixable and editable.
The whole point of Tapatalk is so administrators can avoid having to do just that.

Why avoid it? That is the stupidest thing you could ever do to extend your reach especially by a paid app, there are still devices that aren't full featured nor do they run iOS or Android which is one reason why mobile versions and RSS still exist.

Fix it dont cover it up.

I noticed that almost every forum I went to says it has tapatalk support when I tried viewing it on my android device.
I also noticed that I despised trying to look at forums on my android device.
So I bought the tapatalk app, thought it is definitely worth the 3 bucks, and so I implemented the support so everyone else that has tapatalk can use this site with it as well.
If you dont wanna use it, you don't have to.

I didnt say anything about not using it, the main point I was (trying till law ****ed it up) expressing is that it really didnt deserve front page news. An honorable mention via thread in the amv hell category would have been more suitable.

There is no "news worthy". If it's news(however arguably small or large) and Zarx feels like announcing it then that's reason enough.
It's an administrators prerogative. I would have thought of you to realize that before anyone else.

I just got notification that the Tapatalk app is now free in both Android and Iphone.
Definitely check it out if you would like to browse this forum from your phone.
