But sadly, we finally seem to have hit an all time low point in the songs to sound clips ratio. I'm really disappointed in you all.

AMV Minis season 1 is drawing to a close soon, and then there will be a temporary break before things get started back up. I want to ask that everyone stop submitting videos now, unless you've got one that you think will really blow my socks off.

It's probably the mp4 splitter that is being used. Either get the latest Haali splitter, or enable MPC's internal mp4 splitter.

Damn, I knew I should've made more clips for this. I had, like, 4 or 5 ideas (all music related), but I kept 2nd guessing myself cuz I thought everyone would be going all out with epicly raunchy stuff. Next time I'll just follow my instincts -_-;

As for the video itself, only a few I found LOL funny, but I'm the type of guy that must see something more than once before a not-as-straightfoward joke sinks in like it should.

Baccono/Last Resort, Haruhi/Videodrome, Higurashi/Nekro Critic, Trigun/Saxman, Abenobashi/Old Greg, and Azu/Twilight were pure gold.
The ZP clip was done before.

Aaaanyway, hopefully, by season 2, with AMV Hell 5 done, Minis won't so much so be getting the short end of the stick in terms of clips, thus hopefully quieting some of the skeptics.

Yep, though I did like there was different anime in there, including some that I believe has never premiered in amv hell/minis, like To Aru Kagaku no Railgun.

Overall, the episode was pretty good, and its the first episode with one of my clips in it, so I'm pretty happy bout it lol.

Very first one clip - Last Resort - was good too.
Also Evangelion 6 Little Eggs - was among my favorites.
Also Second clip: Evangelion - Clerks sound clip and Excel Saga clip was fun to watch.

And I would recommend using K-Lite codec pack too.

Coming back to the current video, thanks to Zarxrax for being patient and tolerant with me and my two contributions to this episode (the Bull Durham and Kill Bill clips) - there was a fair amount of back-and-forth behind the scenes before they were finally accepeted and he was helpful and accommodating throughout.

Also, apologies in advance for the scrappy lip-syncing on the Kill Bill clip - it's a relatively old one from when I was first starting out editing, as the wonky flaps probably show. Still, if I may say so, I'm pleased with the concept of "Yakuzamanga Daioh" and think that it's been conveyed well, so I hope that you all enjoy it.

Same thing happened when I played the video for the first time. After updated my Haali Splitter to the most current version, the video corrected itself. Oh and thank you again Zarxrax for including my submission! The Voltron idea was one I had been thinking about for a while, but had to wait since I only recently found some decent footage.

After a few more watches, I'm quite partial to the Abenobashi/Old Greg clip.

That "rainbow door" imagery and Ol' Greg screaming as the kids run in terror just hits my funny bone for some reason. Plus, OG's voice really fits Ms. Aki oddly enough.

ya I submitted that clip ages ago but there was something wrong with it when Zarxrax got it so after a few months I noticed there was a reply on it about it so finally re-edited a few months ago

I have the latest release of CCCP, and I'm fine when it comes to video (although the quality for the Minis downloads stinks...). I think it may be codec packs or a bad splitter.

An "AMV Macro"? It's an intriguing notion, certainly, and with twelve episodes (including the upcoming episode 11 - X2 would probably have to be dropped, or left as a "DVD Extra", owing to the naughtiness inside) there's over an hour of content, but I'm not sure that it would work. The point of the Minis is that they are, well, Mini - you can enjoy them in bite-size chunks and be able to find a specific clip without constantly having to go back and forth along the track of a longer movie, searching for ten seconds amongst ten thousand. Also, it's not as simple as just pasting the beginning of one episode onto the end of the next - as each epsiode has distinctive opening and closing clips, it would feel disjointed as one continuous flow. Better for the Minis to stay true to their name and stay as short videos, I feel.

While some editors might feel a little jealous at being left out of the D.C. edition, I think everyone would be interested to see what tickles your funnybone the most. :)

I just know noticed that this episode is not on Youtube. I understand that there is adulterated content, but I'm sure u can get it on Youtube w/o problems. After all, the hentai-free version of AMV Hell 0 has been on Youtube for over 3 years. So, i was wondering if anyone would like to upload it to Youtube for kicks and giggles ^^

The credits seems to skip one clip. At 02:30, between the Haruhi/Videodrome and the Dead Leaves/s-CRY-ed clips, there is a clip with video from Neon Genesis Evangelion and audio from Clerks. Who submitted this clip? Is it the same guy (scarmullet) that submitted the other Evangelion/Clerks clip?
