How about that? My band have released an EP not so long ago, I thought some of you who are into metal could check it out, we've been trying to spread the word around. I also thought I'd share this with you buddies, as I've been around for awhile (to think of it, I haven't lately though). So, you can report it, but honestly, just have courtesy to click the goddamn link or some bad things will happen

You've got some very nice orchestral sounds,
But the vocals are very sreamy and I always songs sung in that style, there lyrics tend to lose any meaning.
I'd give it 7/10 :) It's a nice effort,
I think I'd be interested in buying an Orchestral version of the songs. :)

I realy liked Alpha Vortex.

That was pretty damned good sir. I will now be shamelessly promoting your band to all of my friends who listen to metal.

String Quartet anyone? But seriously, I don't think we'll ever take the time to do this, but who knows...
The vocals are just a matter of personal preference though, I don't think it has anything to do with the meaning.

I think I'm in the same boat as Guts I like alpha Vortex due the lack of vocals.
I'm sorry but this just an opinion and I may abit off but Within Temptation,NightWish and Lacuna coil are all considered metal right and are all amazing even with vocals.
so How come metal bands with male vocalists can't seem to emulate this quality.
it seems thart alot (95%) of metal bands with male singers seem to go for the screem down to mic approach.

Again, it's not about "quality", people use harsh vocals not because they "can't sing". Nightwish and WT are good and all, but that's just different genre, different feeling, different approach to music. I, for one, couldn't listen to nightwish past the age of 15, it just sounds too cheesy to me. And it's a matter of personal preference, it doesn't make them any worse, it's just that I'm not into this. If you're interested, we're going to mix clean and distorted vocals on our next record as we want some diversity too, but I think it's going to sound something like this:

I think it's ok if you're not into this, I was just reacting to his "meh" approach to criticism.

I'm sorry nipple but your example wasn't the kind of metal I was on about, your example was lighter than the vocals in your music.
that video you posted is prett cool song.

also i'm not saying that singers that sound like they're trying to eat the mic are bad singers I just think they're choice in music style is bad like i think Rap is rubbish.

But Then again I can be a realy fussy A-hole.

p.s I may not be a fan of the Genre you chose for your music But I can't to hear what you come up with next.
Epsecialy if your doing a mixture of clean and distorted vocals on your next record.

p.s.s good luck with this.

I wish I had your confidence because if I did i'd do my manga.

I remember seeing The Ocean with Job for a Cowboy. It was pretty cool. Don't know why Job for a Cowboy was on tour with 'em, though. BTBAM and The Ocean are kinda different from Job for a Cowboy.

Hyped to see you guys mixing vocals. Some of my favorite bands use mixed vocals.

They're one of my recent favorites (by recent I mean a couple of years), last year did a russian tour so I had a chance to see them. JFaC did a tour too later, but it was too expensive considering I'm not a fan. Also I've heard one of them is an asshole.
