AMV Minis Challenge #4: Metal
Entry Period: July 24 - Aug 20

This challenge is a simple one. Make the most metal video that you possibly can.
Videos featuring heavy metal music have always been a staple of the amv hell series, but they are not always as funny as one might hope. This is the chance to change all of that. Can you make a video that is both metal AND will make people fall out of their chair laughing? Let's find out!

If history has proved anything it's that amv's for the main series and minis lack the funny aspect.

I'm not sure if we should have your video should be funny as a condition, I mean comedy is subjective to personal taste I think the comedy stylings of billy connoly is the best, but I think popular apparent comedy programmes like little britain are a load of old tosh.

the most metal video that will have people falling of there chairs with laughter.

So does anyone have the talent to make the world fall of it's chair with laughter - not bleeding likely.

does anyone have the talent to make an awsome metal video - Hell Yeah. this challenge could have some amaizing videos but this idea it has to be funny is just a shakle around the creative process.

just my opinion.

it's lingering butt hurt from past entries that were rejected for not being funny.

apart from those 2 live action clips I did for LA minis I don't think I've manged to make a funny clip, Also I've never realy consider metal music as a comedic format.

I decided to see what metal music I had so I checked in ITunes but that was not helpful at all
lets see nightwish In iTunes comes under the following genres
Metal
Alternative
Rock
and
Pop yes nightwish is now pop music as is Alter Bridge,AngelZoom,Pantera and 3 Doors Downs,

Considering the winner of Challenge #1 is mostly just desktop recorded footage instead of anime, I don't see why you wouldn't be allowed to use a tiny bit of live action in a clip.

It's a good question, It would be nice to have a mixture of anime and live action in the new challenges.

No, that's house music. Heavy metal consists of heavy guitar riffs, bombastic drums, and the music is so savage is makes you want to bang your head and make your hands do this: \m/ *_* \m/. Prodigy makes me wanna break dance, which I can't.

Examples of heavy metal bands: Metallica, DragonForce, Dimmu Borgir, Enslaved, Ozzy Osbourne, Wintersun, Celtic Frost, Sabaton, etc.

Right now, I got an idea going now. Originally I had an idea of many types of screaming, but now I got fire for my next idea.
