I'm excited to be a part of this contest. I've never entered any AMV Hell before and to see my first attempt in the video included is just... amazing. So thank you for including me.

I was intending to not vote so as not to be "that guy" and vote for myself... but then I watched the video and was so impressed by one that I voted for it with no regret or remorse. I am certain my vote went to the winning entry.

Everything up till 7 I didn't care or maybe didn't "Get" after 7 there was a lot better still hit and miss. 17 while perfect I cannot vote for it...because of what the **** is going on in that clip. Not the editor's fault....whoever made the anime is at fault.

Overall no 07 is my choice.

It was close between smells like teen spirit wtf am I listening to, and Tractor! But I went with Tractor for Weird Al already made fun of the fact that no one understood the lyrics of the song with Smells like Nirvana. Though you obviously did a nice spin on that joke and the footage worked well for it...-is having voters regret- xD

It's tough right now. 5 was pretty cool, 9 is exactly what I heard when I first heard this song, and 17, goddamn Strong Bad I miss so bad.

As for others:

1 - No punchline.
2 - Too cruel
3 - Not much to go on
4 - Pretty good, but not great
6 - Came close, but aforementioned are better
7 - It's good, but a little too long
8 - No punchline
10 - Too distracting to be funny
11 - Was clever, but I don't think backmasking counts in my book
12 - Don't like Nickelback, the misheard lyric was cut to quick to even make almost sound like what's "interpreted"
13 - Meh
14 - Not much to go on, and I think there were frames of unedited animation that puts it down
15 - It's clever, but never got a chuckle out of me
16 - The source. Sorry, I was too distracted with the animation more than the song.

10 had fun with the interpretation the song's lyrics and the visuals complemented the silliness of the situation. It has a lot of audio/video chemistry and situational cohesiveness.

07 = One vision - The funny thing here is that we do (not) mishear the lyric. Twice. The 20 second build up wasn't worth it.

09 = Gundam style - Well, that had to be done. Thankfully, it was done well.

10 = Teen spirit - Relied too heavily on the subtitles, to the point of almost tl;dr
Unless I'm mistaken- this is a show available on Crunchyroll, so I predict this entry will most likely be voted into the top 3.

The song, there are a bunch of clips here that have there reasons and some of the words that suppose to be misheard are not in some cases and make no sense. I just figured Freddy put it in for fun but maybe there is a deeper reason? I could just probably look it up but meh. Again I wasn't bashing on the clip, just pointing out that those are the correct lyrics. Any problem I had with the clips didn't usually come from the song itself but more the execution. You brought up the apple pie clip which wasn't one of my favorites because it didn't show an apple pie just a bowl of apples.

It is the correct lyric, and remember it was let in for a reason. That's the problem with having the net at our finger tips, it kills the fun. Freddie did do it as a joke and they let it stay in but before we had the info at our tips is was unknown if he did say that and if he did why? So original it is something of question for being odd.
