Well I'm going to try with this challenge, since didn't enter the past two. Luckily I have quite a few visually appealing animes at hand with unique animation styles

Gonna be a bit low on the effects and video manipulation though since I'm not AT ALL familiar with my software. But either way this should shape up pretty nicely. If I can make it funny? Odds are no but I'll do my best.

Well, this challenge kinda stomps the concept of "funny" on the curb.
If you're going to be full-on-no-jokes-allowed-artiste artistic about it.
Also I'd say the rejects challenge wasn't funny at all.

Hell no!

Waiting 6 months for new episodes that still came off mediocre wasn't fun. At least with this format it's a constant stream of hit or miss and plus editors have incentive to polish their skills and see what works and doesn't.

I have to agree. It seems like there's an increasingly, preoccupying amount of folks who believe that going back to the old format of the minis will go ahead and resolve the ongoing "hit or miss" nature of every episode. While that might have some merit going for it, they have to be aware that the nature of this format is relatively easier to manage in a lot of aspects, particularly in the judging department.

We might have to go ahead and bring this issue up to debate sometime soon.

So everybody has their own views on what art is. I for one see art in many forms such as actual art pieces, sculptures, poetry, stories, even songs are art. I suppose the point I am getting at is does the actual footage have to be considered art or can your music also be the art behind your entry? Either way I think I may have something.

sorta i guess i also mean the music track that does play is pretty quite and its music that is actual classic so it could be anything. and i think the movie its from is funny in its own ways so ill stick with it maybe i have time to change my mind though

Anything can be Art as long as it stands out. It can be in the art style, stylised violence, almost any scene from a Shaft production, almost any pose from Jojo's Bizarre - Adventure. Haar used a scene from HxH where a kid rips out a guys heart, bags it and puts it in the dying guys hand, as he hits the ground, that's basically ART. Ghost in the Shell 2 is an art-film, even though it's complete sh*t.
