We've finally come to the end of AMV Minis Season 1. Hope you enjoy this final episode.
Season 2 will be starting up in a few weeks, so be on the lookout for an announcement regarding that.
The 2 "special" episodes in season 1 were fairly popular, so I would like to do a lot more of those during season 2. I want to go ahead and announce the first one now. It will only feature clips that are 7 seconds or less, and the clips MUST use music, not spoken dialogue! So start going through your music collection and getting some ideas ready!

O_O...Well, that was a strange ending to season 1.

This episode makes me want to watch School Rumble. Loved the cutaways (even though the audio before the songs come in was pretty low), but the first clip wasn't that good. Wasn't bad either, but still.

Anyways, My Top 5

1. Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin - SPOON vs. SPOON (AWESOME just for the WTF factor.)
2. Golden Boy - E.T. (Parody + Ironic Twist = Win. [IMO])
3. High School of The Dead - G Gundam (Stuff like this is the reason why I watch HSOTD.)
4. Halo - Family Guy (AWWW YEAHHHHH.)
5. Sound of the Skies - Sonic The Hedgehog (I'm pretty sure this was way over the 30 second limit.)

I haven't had a chance to see this episode yet (I'm at Uni right now so I'll have to wait till I get home) but I really like the idea for that new special episode, looking forward to it. Also the video game one sounds good in theory too but then I'm a dedicated gamer so I'm probably biased :P

I had another clip to submit before submissions closed but it seems that it might not be able to be featured in the second season of amv hell minis since it is 9 seconds long and the maximum is 7 seconds unless I read that wrong.

Im SO friggen happy that my submission got accepted. Its kinda like seeing your child being accepted to Harvard or something. Anyway, a hilarious episode overall. Its interesting to see that the tradition of using the same clip a few times isn't just exclusive to the main AMV Hell series.

I think it shouldnt be longer than 7.499 999 999 seconds
If its 7.500 000 001 sec, video is considered as 8 seconds length.

Why not just make it 10 seconds. it'd be easier to time since 10 is an even number.

I think the 7 seconds is more of a test for people to get to the humor point and not having to drag it along; besides you seen clips that is great in just 3 seconds

It's hard to find good 7-second clips of songs, but I'm learning to think in terms of "one line and only one line."

There is currently no deadline for submissions, its more just "whenever I get enough to make a whole episode from".

It's just that I have some 30 clips prepared (both for the seven-second special and regular episodes) and if I can only put them in one at a time I'll still be here by Labor Day!

me personally I would say keep the rules the same..then he isnt flooded with submissions; besides it helps ya stretch out your clips

well i think it should be upped to 2 or 3 - not that i have a lot lined up but if you say you make a few shorter clips like 5-10 secs long and could be good that waiting a week for a such a short clip kinda sucks (not that i have many clips aside) but being when you get 2 or 3 ideas in the span of a day or 2 be nice to be able to submit at least 2 of them....

not that my opinion really counts... but i'd say something like 3 max for anything from like 0-15 secs ...and 2 max for 16-30 .......or even say 2 of each for say maybe a max of 4 per week..... again just a suggestion XD

ya but you Im thinking if we all send in a submission normally they would get about 20, cutting the submission waiting in half then they would get almost 40-80 a week mixed in with seeing what's good, what's not then editing, making credits....my brain is just frying thinking how it would all stay organized
