AMV Minis Challenge #29: AMV
Entry Period: October 25 - November 21

AMV Hell was born out of the AMV world, but sometimes I think we forget that. With so many clips made with audio snippets from tv, movies, and video games, the music becomes an afterthought. For this round, make a clip using part of a song.
It can be humorous, or it can just be awesome. If you do try for a non-humorous one though, it does need to at least be fun/upbeat or energetic. It needs to have actual editing that you spent more than 10 minutes on.

I got two ideas thus far: a compilation of clips for Eminem, or an Azumanga Daioh AMV. Unfortunately, the latter anime has been done to death since that anime is the most ripe for comedy gold.

I Dled that video back on Kazaa years ago, I liked it......I do not know why I liked it at all ever now. I also had a DBZ Desktop theme that made power up noises when I clicked the start menu.

I can tell you that Let the bodies hit the floor with Naruto has not been over done, I checked it on youtube and it only got 46,200 results.

The same goes for Bring me back to life with Bleach, Again I checked youtube and it only came back with 61,400 results

I'm thinking of going with the under used idea of putting linkins parks crawling with DBZ that only got 44,300 results on youtube.

look at those low ass numbers non those 3 ideas aren't boring,generic,bland or uninspired.

we should totally do them.

This is the only version of this idea I could find so it's kind of been done to death and is very generic but I like the concept.

I have found a couple good ideas, but they all might lack in the humor department i feel. i had one idea in the works with potential, but it would use a singer overused in AMV Hell, and a couple overused scenes in AMV Hell (this was the skit I wanted to submit to challenges 1 or 2, but never had the time to accomplish) >>

Planned to do Guns N' Roses, but didn't realize the song clip I wanted was longer than I thought, and it's not gonna meet the 40 sec requirements.

Well, good thing I had a back up plan, and it has Eminem's name on it.

EDIT: Just checked, and 2 parts of the chorus I got each got 30 and 40 sec respectively. That means, gotta make these seconds count real good.

Crap, I don't know if I'll make the deadline. My video is halfway done, but it's 15 minutes before it's Friday 12 AM, unless that's not the actual deadline. And I'm missing a video I'm trying to get before it's too late. Don't know if I have to forfeit yet.

Zarx usually closes the submission period at the end of the deadline day. So, we've got around 24 hours.

My computer is running slower than molasses, and it doesn't help because this thing is nearly 5 years old. At this rate, I do not think I'll be able to get this AMV finished, even with this extra time I have. So I think I'm calling it now: I forfeit this challenge.

I think I'll just go the Intro Challenge as I already have the perfect idea, and I might as well get started.
