The only one I can vote for is 18. Some had a smudge of humor but were lame edits, others vice versa. 25 and 27 made me laff, but so much community circle jerking. And holy. ****. WHY SO MANY OLD AMVHELL JOKE REHASHES?!?! I swear we've seen the mustache gag IN THE SAME ANIME at least 3 times now, and at least 4 others were reshashes too! I'm voting 18 because it's not as stupidly raging as 27 but still is getting the same ppint across.

1. What does the audio have to do with anything? You may as well have not changed a thing for all that it's different from the actual source. This is basically just a cheap laugh grab going for the "haha people are annoyed with Jem clips,so we'll show jem records being destroyed lulz" gag, and I feel like parts of the source video were used previous with the same unedited audio. Overall: lame.

2. Ha. Is funny, because serious character is on phone and he hears silly urban slang even though he is so serious, Ohhh my... Overall: sucks.

3. This is actually kind of amusing, but I couldn't bring myself to even chuckle, really, because the setup and punchline and entire joke are all finished in the first 2 seconds, but it continues... Overall: funny, but the joke is too simple

4. I liked this until it randomly had cutout Simpsons stuff thrown in for some reason. Then the guy sitting at the computer at the end.... By that point I just wanted it to be done. Overall: I like the joke a lot, but some of the editing choices were weird and off putting to me.

5. This is about as long as #3 should've been, but then comes up point #2, the joke is too simple.

6. I love 2 stupid dogs, but this suffers the same problem as 3 and 5... Too simple.

... I might do the rest later.

Well all those pretty much fell flat for me. Only one I found slightly funny was 7. Also a lot of these have been done before in previous Hells, so no matter how better or worse they did, the joke has been done and it wasn't as funny. Not the best finale for these challenges

I guess I'll take my place in the AMV Elite now. Fairly exclusive club there with only five of us. I'm not sure what I did to deserve this honor, as I never thought my clips were that great, but thank you. I'd also like to thank the academy, Satan for all the constant reassurance and inspiration, my mother for giving birth to me, which as it turns out was a real turning point in my career, and my wife who is too kind to tell me when something I make sucks so that I submit it anyway.

Actually, that was made specifically to meet a quota; One Death Note clip, & one Halo clip per episode. "But there weren't any Halo clips in the entire series!" I didn't make the clip for AMV Minis, I made it for my own mashup series on YouTube, called Splash Pad. The episode it's in isn't out yet though.

Yeah, this probably would've been better if the creators of the series had higher standards than "If it follows the rules, it's allowed." 27 was probably the best because it shows how a little moderation can go a long way. The rest, either the joke didn't translate well, the clip wasn't all that funny, or the clip just... wasn't. And that includes mine.

What I find hilarious is that he seems to be complaining about **** clips being accepted. He also admitted his clip is a **** clip.....and that he still submitted it.

Serious side note: If you don't want minis to be ****, then be a part of the solution, not the problem. Don't submit **** clips if you don't want Zarx to add **** clips.

On a much more technical note, is it just me or is Replay Gain and/or WaveGain not being used anymore? The easiest place to hear this is with clips 22 and 23 - according to Foobar2000's r128gain scanner, they are a full 3.78dB apart in terms of estimated human-precieved volume.

Yes, it is still being used.
In fact, Clip 22 was amplified by 2.81db, while clip 23 was quieted by 8.10db.
Clip 23 probably has a larger dynamic range, which leads to the beginning of it being quieter, and thus seeming to have a large difference from the previous clip.

Time for the Elite Four to do their job.

Wait a second: Chaz, meself, Loli, Akyho, and now Ura... goddamnit Urarara! We had something going with that name! *sigh* I guess "The AMV Hell Elite" will do.

Let me premise this with my expectations for this Challenge.

With it being the last Challenge of the season and by looking at the enthusiasm shown by the members in its announcing thread, I expected more worthwhile jokes than usual out of this endeavour. Not all winners, of course (we don't have enough willing, competent people for that at the moment), but at least a couple of entries from some folks who looked forward to at least "make one more clip" for the last Challenge. The final number of entries, while not astounding, was at least good enough to raise some sort of hopes towards achieving an overall positive closure for this season. In addition, the final Challenge was basically very lax in regard to its requirements: the contestants just had to make a funny video.

With all that said, let's look at what we've got:

1. It follows a story, but there's little comedy going for it.

2. White boy acting like a ****** on a phone. The dialogue isn't particularly funny. No.

3. It's a murderous rat-squirrel, everyone. Laugh! *sigh*

4. Better than what we've seen, is that a good thing? Not necessarily.

5. It's "funny" because he's not a non-black person rapping like a black person. Aren't you and number **** over there late for middle school?

6. Similar to 4: it's trying to do something. Still, a lot of work ahead, especially with that ****ing sloppy audio and those cute little black bars on top and the bottom.

7. Acceptable, but it needed to be shorter. Not to mention those audio cuts are very noticeable.

8. Now this one has good legs to stand on.

9. A song that mentions an action put to an anime that represents said action does not necessarily make comedy, this is no exception.

10. Better luck next time, whenever that is.

11. Proper for describing the challenge so far, improper for passing as a good entry. Mediocre at best.

12. That continuous scene stretches for too long. There's a lot to be desired in terms of scene dynamics.

13. It works fine.

14. And the joke is...? (Rhetorical question.)

15. Talk about ****ing up on a dialogue entry. Good job in that regard.

16. Already done in AMV Hell. I guess you did more of the skit, for a change. It's alright.

17. 15, here's your partner in crime. Work together. I'll see both of you in Haar's editing class.

18. I'm not particularly fond of the ventriloquist method of mouth moving, so I don't see why you couldn't have used another scene or even masked Chiyo's mouth from another scene. It might drag a little bit in regard to the lipsync scenes: too much lip flapping, not enough action (either action from scene switching or from the characters moving). The nods toward AMV Hell's lore don't stick out that much and bring a nice bonus for those who know the associations while not alienating those who know the franchise only by name. This clip is cute and reminds me somewhat of the old AMV Hell clips, for whatever reason. Maybe because it's not too brusque (or because it's Azumanga Daioh)?

19. It tried to be a funny contrast, but it fell flat right at the start line. That audiovisual contrast sure as hell doesn't work with that scene selection. Tough luck, boyo.

20. Good concept, though the execution needs some work to be more fluid. It's good.

21. Thinking in the third dimension, eh? Still, overused song section. Waaaay too overused. Very little going for this clip.

22. "Jolly gee, sweetheart! I think wun of 'em orphan frames wen' 'head an' sneaked 'nto the house!"

"Oh, those pesky little rats!" *grabs frying pan*

23. I haven't watched whatever you're trying to emulate, so you must wonder how out of the loop I am with this. It doesn't hold itself together without the reference crutch, that's for sure.

24. Short and sweet.

25. As much as I get the joke and giggle at it, I can't in good conscience consider this as passable. It's done well for what it is, but still.

26. You don't need the moonspeak.

27. Similar in nature to 25, but even cruder (many crude elements in this one against the one element in 25).

So, we have around 1/3 clips that are good in some way, and the rest of them being unsatisfactory for the theme at hand. It's somewhat disappointing, though appropriate, for this season of AMV Minis to end with the low standards of quality it nurtured throughout its course. We can take solace on the fact that we have reached the conclusion of this experimental format. Its information will surely be of use when the community helps in deciding the future of AMV Minis and AMV Hell.

My vote? It's a secret.

01 – Bitch – So this is how Jem’s occupation of the AMV Minis Challenges comes to an end, in the most humourless, forced, tired and totally not-outrageous way possible. Disappointing.
Admittedly- it was nice to see the anti-Jem logo make one final appearance, but the re-used footage from the Fandom entry (http://youtu.be/zTb9-fSb-vE?t=3m10s) wasn’t so welcome.
You’re an artist, my friend. Why must you paint the same bowl of fruit over and over again? The contents of the bowl rotted a long time ago.

03 – Looks familiar – Nothing hysterically funny, but it fits. Pity it wasn’t a grey squirrel with green eyes.

04 – Grumpy – Didn’t feel any synergy with this one. By the 1:25 mark this had already overstayed its welcome.

05 – Guess Who – A decent enough AMVine. The video quality is bad, but at least the lip-syncing works. Signature point (6).

07 – Comedian Audio + video = LOL? – The comedian is talking about football and baseball, and you’ve synced the spiel to footage of both sports… doing this is not clever nor funny.
Rewatch this entry with your eyes closed. What did you miss? Nothing. The humour of this entry is all in the audio, the video does nothing to complement it. This is poor synergy.
The Fumoffu footage is 4:3 and stretched, this looks very bad. On the plus side- your timing on the cuts is fine. Keep at it.

09 – Waves goodbye – A song about waves with a video of swimming in a wavy sea? Point (2).

12 – Tache – Point (5), I saw it. Otherwise- fine I suppose, but the video was a bit dull. Might have been more entertaining if there was a little more movement and energy.
The picture is a bit patchy in places- like at 4:30. Is this a result of the compiling process, Zarx?

14 – Jurassic Park? – The “Welcome to Jurassic Park” line at the start is barely audible, but wasn’t important. I’ll admit that the surprise transition into the crappy melodica music was mildly amusing, but the video doesn’t complement it and the clip drags on for too long.

15 – The 15th entry – Points (5) and (6). Lip-syncing, are you familiar with this concept? One of the worst entries submitted to these challenges I’ve seen. Congratulations, idiot.
If this was made by an editor by the name of Ky, there will be blood.

16 – Carnival Kenny – This is what is known as “Rene LaLoux” lip-syncing here, the human mouth doesn’t move that fast and it looks weird… but at least it was consistent and not too off-putting.
I might have directed you to point (1) but I would argue that this is at least an improvement over the 6.66 original (http://youtu.be/Bj-mal_6xOs?t=15m22s).
It isn’t perfect- the “to be shot” bit doesn’t read well, and at 5:49 why didn’t you add an explosion sound effect? Just sticking with the gunshot from the South Park audio was lazy. Bit of a lame punchline too: “Dude!” That’s it?

17 – Shiny – Points (1) and (6).

Unacceptable. For this gross lack of attention to detail- I hope you awkwardly bump into an old woman as you walk the street and feel guilty about it for a couple of minutes afterward.

19 – Navy – Point (4) I will flick a grain of salt in the general direction of your eyes for this.

20 – Peenus – It tells a joke! That’s always a big plus! The ending is a little abrupt- maybe another half a second before the transition frame hit would have been nicer, otherwise- not bad. Ghosting, point (6).

22 – Ghey way – Point (1).

23 – Now this looks familiar too (http://youtu.be/1yL3J-ea9XQ ) – Lip-syncing could have done with a second pass in a few places. The cut from Squid-girl standing on the table to the shot at 7:26 was jarring, I guess you weren’t up to the challenge of syncing her head movements like Deemer (http://youtu.be/Bj-mal_6xOs?t=14m36s) and I were? Squid-girl was facing right when she inked Chizuru, but in the shot at 7:34 she’s facing left. Inconsistency.
Not a bad concept, but you didn’t do enough with it. It was over way too soon.

24 – Another familiar clip – Point (1). It’s bad enough that we’ve seen this done in two Hells already, but some of us have even seen it done to death in AMV Hell Tennis- which I’m guessing this entry graduated from.

25 – Seems like an agreeable chap – A marvellously executed entry, but you could have at least asked me for a higher-resolution copy of my avatar image, couldn’t you? Silly-Billy.
I demand that this entry be added to the AMV Hell registry for its cultural, historic and aesthetic significance. Adding it to the best-of compilation is not enough.

27 – Why didn’t you use a proper gunshot sound effect, you nutcase? – Leaving out the final transition frame was a nice touch, Zarx.

That’s all of my (editing) signature points referenced in one round. Shame on all of you.

It’s been a wonderful journey, peeps. All that’s left to do now is ready some praise and scorn for the best-of compilation.

I wanted space laser disco ships, I timed some of the lasers and also it was to mislead thinking "uh gay navy joke incoming....oh........right..." however you do have valid points.

See that is the horrible thing, each time I come to the end of my clip and finish it I go "Should I fade......should I not......fade or not...fade or not.....does it annoy chaz and he is the only one that ever picks up on it? FADE IT IS!" I get a chuckle every time and it is worth it because it ONLY affects Chaz and is eagle ears.

Meh. I guess I'll decline to do my own full review. Mill and Chaz pretty much covered what I wanted to say.

I'll give special nods to 8 and 27 though. The former for reminding me that despite my hatred for ****ty star, I liked the lucky channel segments, and the latter for that rage! It's like the AMV Hell Equivalent of CM Punk's pipe bomb. It get my vote for simply doing what I asked and mocking those people on youtube STILL asking what anime is [insert number here]. That was most satisfying.

14 was probably the one where the joke was translated the worst. It probably would've worked better if the video was a huge amount of buildup with a really disappointing payoff. Though it was the only one where it was an "Oh s#!t!" moment for me. My reaction was pretty much "Wait, how is the Jurassic Park theme set to dinosaurs comed... Oh s#!t, it's the melodica cover, isn't it?" (melodica starts) "AH S#!T! It's the melodica cover!" It didn't get the positive reaction it wanted, but it got a positive reaction... Wasn't funny, but still.

We're a cooperative, wiener boy. There are no champions, everyone is equal, and the Elite stands united. Sheesh, you've got to work on correcting that loser mentality of yours.

That said, it would be a good idea to hold a friendly contest among the members, eventually. Take a break from the Minis and whatnot.

This really had me face-palming a lot. I had low standards for this, and it wasn't low enough. really emphasizes 27's point. I liked it, but it actually was too factual to be funny to me. Gonna have to rewatch to muster enough to make a vote.

Also, not sure if my skit being skipped by Chaz is a good thing or not (last couple challenges have been skipped by him). Prolly going into dangerous territory asking that question xD

Yes, it is still being used.
Clip 23 probably has a larger dynamic range, which leads to the beginning of it being quieter, and thus seeming to have a large difference from the previous clip.

Apologies on the late replay, but I'm not so sure that's the reason... What I did was open the MP4 directly in Audacity, selected and seperated the audio of those two clips, and then exported them as individual 32bit floating point PCM WAV files. I then ran those PCM WAV files through Foobar's ReplayGain scanner (based on the r128gain algorithm) and got the results I posted earlier.

Perhaps the r128gain algorithm is just more accurate in terms of human-perceived volume? According to its sourceforge page, r128gain specifically uses ffmpeg and therefore should theoretically be able to be used for the audio during video encoding...

It’s a cute, little video rant, but I pity those of you voting for entry 27, and I hope your underpants feel itchy despite having been recently washed.

It's not really the core idea that does this one for me, since we've been whining about that stuff for the past two years, but the editing. ****'s dynamic, uses visual cues and cuts to actively put emphasis on the lines of the song, some of which are used in a fairly clever and original manner, fits great with the mood and tone of the audio, and clearly has more effort poured into it than a good two thirds of the clips in this entire episode combined.

Is it the greatest clip we've seen in years? F*** no. But it's definitely a cut above almost everything else that appears in this challenge. Dismissing it entirely because of the creator's self-righteous and bombastic attitude while criticizing every fine little technical detail of the other clips that have appeared in these challenges until now is almost hypocritical, so pull that cob out of your ass already...

That is the weird thing Romans a good editor yet he cries about everything, so much so his entry is one big whiney temper tantrum. It would have been a good video if he just wasn't jerking off going "nyyyyaaaa these users are so gonna get it nnnnyyaaaa!" if he left out the malic and just made the commentary on AMV hell it would have been a cool vid. Instead he had an agenda to attack people, he used that creative energy and skill to just be a cry baby.

If you look at all the points where he is just pointing out users on the forum cos the "wronged him" those are the weakest parts and actually just filler. The scroll among youtube comments is just a text scroll so he went "OH SHINEY! LOOK CHAZ BEING ANAL ****ED BY A CORN!" no....your joke about youtube comments has just been distracted by "I HATE THIS GUY! LOLS LOOK! HA HAH HE GETS ****ED BY CORN!" make up your mind you just ruined your own joke you dolt.

Followed with 10 seconds of "HERE IS MORE GUYS I HATE!" as he edits in a gun shooting to what? one of those air cannons that go "Boif!" or it is just a balloon popping?

Actually watching this clip more...it actually does **** all for commentary. It starts of well edited, starts off with a point then derails it self with "I HAVE NO IDEAS LET ME SHOW YOU PEOPLE I HATE!" followed by quite a long time of test card. Then a mixed commentary on AMV hell in general with Zarx and SSG. followed with the end.

That is what I said, it is edited well he is a good editor. Terrible comedian or troll. He just threw shiney stuff in people faces and made them think it was smart so he could attack people and feel justified like he is attacking our character. Fun Fact....everyone he attacked does a better job defacing their character by themselves. Urahara doesn't he know why he is in it and I can only think he told Roman to calm down once....

The clip is just good editing for the third, terrible editing for the middle, good editing for the last third. All shiney all just flash and no bang.

Here's my take

1. Jem - While I didn't find it actually funny, it was a good use of music with the scene. Points for that

2. Death Note - **** joke. Wasn't even made for this series. Negative points

3. Squirell thing - Just annoying really.

4. Game Grumps - These clips really don't do much for me in general. There's a right way and a wrong way to do swearing rants, and this isn't it

5. You are Kira - Didn't do much for me. There's likely a better punchline

6. Balls - I like this one, I used to watch that all the time. Points for nostalgia

7. Baseball/Football - A nice match of comedy routine and animation, Very nice

8. Lucky Channel - A lot of work in the clip, and decent lip syncing. Nicely done

9. Drowning - No comedy, no action, nothing going for this clip

10. Something - don't know, don't care

11. Fail - FAIL. YOU FAIL. HOW DO YOU SCREW THIS UP?

12. Moustache - Good tune, funny clip, Really ****ing catchy. Nice

13. Jesus - Nothing really going for this clip either

14. Jurassic Park - No Joke, No Humour at all. WTF is this ****

15. Seduction - No trace of lip syncing, no idea what's going on

16. Kenny - Good lip syncing, though a little disjointed at the end. Passable

17. Teeth - I like the idea, but the lip syncing was all over the place. Passable

18. Lazytown - Nice tune, and good match with the video.

19. In The Navy - Space and Naval songs don't really match up well

20. Golden Time - This was good, nice twist ending. Good work

22. Gay - I found this was pretty funny. Nice one

24. Stairs - Humourous, but been done a few times.

27. **** it - Funny clip, and some good editing. Roman showed me the clip before it came out, and it's had basically the reaction I thought it would. I don't know the entire story with him, but from the way he was talking, it's possibly his last clip here. It will be a shame to see a good editor go

It's not necessarily the only clip made for something other than AMV Minis, it's just the only one made for something else admittedly. There are most definitely clips made for AMV Hell 7 here that just didn't get submitted on time.

The only reason I submitted this clip was to see if it could actually compete. And now I learn they publish every submission that's technically valid? Why not just publish the ones they actually liked? Because there aren't very many entries? So what?! If you hold a talent/skill show on TV, and there are only 7 people who weren't picked to move forward, you don't move them forward anyway just to fill time. American Idol doesn't do that. Britain's Got Talent doesn't do that. Ninja Warrior doesn't do that. Hell, on Ninja Warrior, they don't even put a specific amount of contestants through. The solution: Treat it like a skill show. Make user votes the SECOND filter.

Also, you can't judge a work based on something external of it. Sure, feel free to give it negative points, but base them on the ****tiness of the clip itself, not its backstory.

If bitter is facing reality and feeling depressed that Roman is just replicating what any 15 year old does when he fights on the internet...then yes...bitter. I hope he is 15 and just stupid, if he isn't then my my could I be even more bitter.

I don't know...It just comes off bad when you insult an individual's intelligence level. Also, I can't bull**** as while our criticisms are valid most of the time, they are still more often than not, worded in an unnecessarily condescending manner.(inadvertent or not) Perhaps Roman has thinner skin than others here, but I guess I prefer the rage out entry as opposed to bitching on a forum about it. Notice the clever use of colors; the orange flames (a clear callback to one of the AMV Hell forum's primary colors), the red one can notice on the top of the lawnmower (in this case, associated to the meager Youtube fandom), the green color of the gas tank (a color associated to many users, such as Urahara's chatbox font and Guthix's signature) and the black, symbol for the festering darkness and hatred that lies within the hearts of men, observable in both the gas tank and the top of the lawnmower. Clearly this is one of the most sophisticated and complex reaction images this site has had the chance to observe in years...

Since we can't see the loafer wearer's face, those are some stretched assumptions about their actions and intentions. All that can be determined is that they are standing there passively as the situation literally goes up in flames and spreads out of control, whether that is from complacency or from unawareness is unknown. Given the inappropriate attire for the situation, I would imagine the latter is more likely. Granted, it's still possible to interpret Zarx as in that position, thought it would paint his presence in a different light.

Perhaps the pouring of the gas isn't paradoxical at all. Perhaps it's simply inevitable and inescapable. After all, how would you put out the fire in this situation? There are clearly no resources around to smother it with. If you poured water on it, it's simply going to carry the gas and flames on top of it and spread. The only way to put it out is to move the mower somewhere else. But you can't carry the mower without damaging yourself; aside from the flames themselves, the heat on the metal would burn your hands, and the blade underneath would also make carrying it a bad idea. You'd have to start the mower in order to move it, and for that it needs fuel. You have to run the risk of making the fire worse in order to try making the situation better.
This also assumes the operator is too damn weak to just push the thing using the handle

A few of these were good. There were a lot of retreads of old gags and clips, but that's all right since for some reason George Carlin and Haruhi go together like tuna fish salad and cream cheese.
Which is why I voted for Clip 07.

Welp...glad I could do my part for the AMV Hell community by only voting and not once ever submitting a single video to AMV Minis Challenges.

I was actually wondering if there was something ironic about this, if the joke was that it wasn't comedy, that it was actually supposed to be unfunny. Then I finally hit something that at least made me crack a smile about halfway through and realized that no, everything else before it was just utterly horrible.

You know... people used to argue about which AMV Hell was their favorite. They used to argue about which of the various AMVs were best, and there were certainly a huge number to choose from. The fact that the last several minis have had to include references that apologize for or at least mention the fact that everyone says they're going downhill... doesn't that strike anyone as a big fat warning sign? Perhaps it's not just haters, and these videos really do just suck? Every so rarely we get one that's mostly good - 2014 was a good one - but otherwise it's more an exercise in panning for gold than actually striking it. It's become a chore. That's bad.

EDIT: Just noticed this is the last one. Thank goodness - this has long since run its course. Take a break for a couple seasons and let people recharge.

I have been watching these amv hell minis for a while (I don't really post... at all really), and from what I can tell, something that should of been a chance to make some good laughs, turned into a ****storm. Filled with what could be called halfhearted attempts at humor, and obivous attacks on others... I thought the theme was comedy, not attacks and jaded editors in a pissing contest.

I thought the attacks were funny, and I was subject to one of them. I think the difference here is that the general public and the youtube crowd were not the target audience here; it's the actual members of the forum, and the regular ones at that. Maybe that's why the outside crowd keeps bitching, we're just not pandering to their bull**** here. We're pandering to our own internal bull****, as those are the only votes that count.

Now, I will grant that some points of quality are lower because Zarx isn't filtering things, and it's up to us to filter out out own **** (which frankly most of us suck at). However, I think the majority of the people complaining forget that that was the entire ****ing point to this whole thing. Really, the title of "This is what I have to Deal With" applies to every single minis challenge. In the end, the total quality of what is put out can only be determined by the quality of what is put in. If you think everything that has come out of the challenges is ****, don't sit there and bitch, get some editing software, learn how to use it, and make something better, you stupid lazy ****s. I can't believe this has to be spelled out for you.

Well I made this back in 2009 for something more or less a copy of AMV Hell, named "Its a Hell of a funny AMV" for a school club and was never uploaded before.
I was just watching Detective Conan and Kogoro Mouri looked just like Chip Skylark to me, so I remade the old Shiny Teeth joke.
I was just starting to use Sony Vegas 9 back then and was not very good at this time. 2nd I was never trying to lip sync but sync words to what you see in the video.

Roman, I actually felt sorry for you at one point, since you're obviously troubled, but now you've gone too far, you're beating a dead horse, and it's become a waste of time and effort.

You told me that you were upset due to some personal issues involving your family and some bad things happening to them, but that seems like a rather poor excuse to manipulate the suffering of others into a reason to become a furious monster of nonsensical hatred on the internet. Now, I realize that you're probably going through a lot in life and have at least a few psychological issues, based on previous things you told me about your life, but this is no excuse for rampant, tasteless, infantile homophobia with no real effort to even make it entertaining. Have you ever considered that your reliance on calling people fags is a sign of some sort of insecurity or severe bias you have against a group of people that probably didn't even do anything to you to deserve it and you're projecting your disdain of a few guys from the internet onto this group? Is this hatred based on some religious beliefs? I thought most religious beliefs were about forgiving people and accepting them for who they are, turning the other cheek, et cetera. I understand being upset, but this is not how you're supposed to take out your anger. I'm sure you're capable of a much better way of channeling your anger into something positive.

Your video itself tells me a lot of things about you as a person, namely that you took the insults of people on the internet quite seriously and as such, probably cared a lot about them and wanted to be friends, or at least accepted. Your lashing out was an odd form of meta-reverse-pandering that leads to the question of "what was the point of submitting it in the first place?" Were you hoping that they'd listen to your statement and stop? They were already aware that you didn't like them, so the best course of action would have been apathy and completely denying them any attention whatsoever. Furthermore, your extreme hatred of mil for liking my little pony is rather ridiculous. He hardly ever brings the show up to begin with, so the desperate use of it as an argument against his opinions seems petty and out of place. Now, I also hate My Little Pony. I hate a lot of things, really. Most religions, most anime series, most music, et cetera. But I simply either avoid the people that do like these things or find friends that have these traits, but don't constantly try to get others involved in those things despite their lack of interest. That aside, I respect people that are different from me as long as they are logical, rational, nice people in other regards. For example, while I don't care for Lucky Star or Bleach, Jinzo64 and I are still fairly close friends due to him still being a good person overall to talk to and nice to begin with. Even when I dislike people, I will insult them for things that are relevant to the topic at hand. That is to say, when discussing how much I dislike Uwe Boll's films, I would not mention it being because the director himself has bad teeth, but simply because his choices in film direction are very poor.

Directly addressing your behavior in this thread, I have several things to say.

1. Repeating "amv elites" does not make it any more of a valid phrase. If anything, it is entering forced community meme territory and it needs to stop, seeing as how it isn't working anyway.

2. Posting irrelevant images before or after your replies does not enhance your argument. It just makes the argument seem even more petty than it already is and much less valid. I'll show you what I mean.

3. I really hate to say it, but you've become exactly what you hate: A pointlessly hypercritical, lazier version of Kintaro. Simply complaining about a community being bad and throwing around ad hominem does not solve anything. You have to work towards actually making things better if you ever want to see any real change. What would have happened if Che Guevara decided to do angry impressions of his enemies instead of actually making an effort towards overthrowing the Cuban Government? What would have happened if George Washington decided to just draw vulgar cartoons of his primary targets instead of working to eliminate British rule in America? Would anyone care about these people today? Your actions speak louder than your words and so far, you haven't done much to actually improve the situation. I have been called far worse things on the internet for far less than what you did by far crueler people, and instead of just complaining to people about it, I took action and solved the issue. Coming to sites like this and posting things takes a very thick skin, and a person really needs one if they hope to ever get anywhere in life. I know that the desire to fight back in a harsh, violent manner is tempting, as I've been tempted to do so in real life, but there are consequences for doing these things, and that is why we have to hold back our real feelings sometimes to avoid making situations worse and approach situations logically.

Please understand that I am actually worried about you and think that you're a person that means well and may need actual professional help before something bad happens.

You realize this community is obsessed with meta pandering anyway, right? Take note of the first challenge winner being a video that only makes sense to people that send in videos, which was also just random footage of some guy's desktop instead of anime, I might add. This is nothing new. That video winning set the tone for the rest of the season, really.

Regarding the community stuff, most of your posts as of late seem to directly involve your disapproval or disdain towards the behavior of others in these threads, as if that was going to change their behavior or serve any purpose whatsoever besides letting us know that some nobody we don't give two ****s about that assumes he is in some way shape or form important doesn't care for some other nobodies that we don't give two ****s about. Well that's news to me, sorry for the unneeded info. Not on hare very much, as I'm sure you know by my post#.

Yes, 1st I was wrong on the date its from 2011-12 and yes I tired to improve quality of it. As it was 51s before I entry it.
I was going to try and do a full remake of the video but sadly I was having hard time fining the right episodes in the set of Detective Conan videos.. a little over 720 episodes to look at.
So I use the old video as I was out of time to fine the episode. Plus all the info I posted was in the entry before it was part of this Challenge, so it was easy to remove if was going to be.

P.S. What I fine very funny is that all the jokes of Detective Conan that are in AMV Hell, are all from the 1st or 2nd season of the show.
But a lot of good parts to make jokes from are way into the show. I'm just saying it, not that anyone needs to know or anything.

Anyway love to what types of videos will be done next on AMV Hell. (AMV Hell 8, Minis, Some type of new Challenge)

The thought of mashing audio clips of what’s-his-face from Lucky Star/Channel into a rap is great, but the fact that the words coming out of his mouth in this AMV are not his own really takes away the creativity of the idea. I mean- why not simply use the original recording of “Baby got back”, or apply the Brian Williams rap to footage of Gene Starwind from Outlaw Star? Because Sir Mix-a-lot/Gene Starwind isn’t a (fictional) TV personality like what’s-his-face and it wouldn’t fit? It really doesn’t make a difference; the words still aren’t his own.

that's a fair assessment, i had the same thoughts whether it would work or not.
it works for some, doesn't work for others. i'm not disappointed with the result though.

You say that, but the way you actually carry the "conversation" just because I criticized the way you carry yourself means that you definitely have an ego, or may just simply be butthurt that I'm not responding in the way you thought, so you're trying incredibly hard to make yourself look like the more mature and intelligent person by using more text. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work that way.

Also, you're criticizing links that have been in that signature for literally months and that I forgot were even there. That just shows you're desperate in trying to make some kind of headway in an argument that you really didn't even need to get involved with in the first place by grabbing whatever tiny piece of material you can get just to try an make yourself look important.
