well by now you should know that they decided that there gonna open up a video game exhibit at the Smithsonian of Art Museum in Washington D.C.
it goes from humble beginnings all the way to the next gen so whats your thoughts on the games chosen to be in and what would you put in that did not make it. Its exciting that video games are finely getting this kinda spotlight. thanks to blisterdthumbs for the game listings...

is games art (http://insomnia.ac/commentary/is_games_art/)?

Is this supposed to be for artsy games, groundbreaking games, or any?
I like how flower and DiabloII are in the same category. (they should probably do something about that/ the category system in general)

Why no gameboy/ handheld systems? Pokemon red/blue should be in there.
Where's tetris? Tony Hawk's Pro Skater? DDR? Guitar Hero? Super Smash (melee)?
There are plenty of great RPG's for SNES, they should include at least one of them.
pokemon snap was awesome and unique in what it did.
I prefer Banjo Kazooie to Super Mario 64, in artsyness and gameplay, though the SM64 came first, which is probably why it gets the nod. Though they do have a lot of games that weren't the first of their kind.

This is a good start, but they should expand the categories a little more, and not limit themselves to the same number of games per system.
