Heyo Guys

I read the Zarxrax thread about the history of amv hell, so
in this thread you can post how you lost you amv hell
"Virginity".

I lost my AMV-Hell virginity about three years ago. My friend has shown me
AMV Hell 0 ( just becuase there is much hentai ^^).I watched it
about 4 times a day because I thought WOW, that awsesome. At this
time I had no idea about amv hell or this community. About 1 Year later I
discovered, that there is more than AMV Hell 0. I downloaded
AMV hell 3 from myvideo and watched it. Again I only thought Wow.
After that I thought that I wanna have them in a better Quality
so I visited this site. I started an topic because I havent know if
it would be legal to download them. I watched one after the next and I
just thought. I need more!!!! But then I have done a bad mistake. I
ate some choclate while watching AMV Hell /0. I watched the Bondage game clips
and I almost threw up.Then I started watching the AMV hell minis season 1
and finally amv hell 5 too. while watching amv hell 5 I just thought:

"The work, which will become a new Genre itself will be called AMV-Hell"
Thats f***** true!!!!


So i joined the community about 1 Year ago. And I was so lucky that everyone
accepted me because I have much problems with looking for new friends. I am shy.

Now I am here.

And i AM SOOOOOOO happy about that.

friend was sleeping over, he gets a txt from his fried to watch this thing about anime, so while Im playing MW2, he plays the vid, I get so interrested that I stop playing and watch all 4 of them with him, which lasted us till around 3.

some time after that I decided to check out the site, then discovered minis.

it was around that time I made my first AMV of my own just for fun

Two years ago... I'd actually stumbled on Youtube on AMV Hell 4 (they used to have full version of it then, but I think they now canceled it). Anyway, I obviously loved it and, as there was a link in the videos to the AMV Hell site, I eventually wound up here, were I saw the rest of the "Hell"s. I lurked around for a while until a little after the Minis came out and, eventually, I joined...
And that, my son, is how I lost both of my AMV Hell and Anime virginity in one go! (I personally had never seen more than a few streaks of some Anime series until I stumbled on AMV Hell, so it's only thanks to it that I've been able to watch all the Anime series I've seen up to now...)

Watched part of AMV Hell 3 (starting at the "Project A-Ko" clip, I think) at my high school's anime club. I originally thought we were watching an actual show and desperately spent 10 minutes trying to figure out the PLOT of this thing....

Then I started actually recognizing shows (like Bebop and Tenchi Muyo) and saw how wrong I'd been...and then, I started laughing. But I distinctly remember that I was like "whaaa..." at the "Field trip! Field Trip!" clip.

Since then, the videos have been my best procrastination tool, and I've watched all of them. I finally saw 0 and /0 a few weeks ago after I stopped freaking out about downloading them. 3, 5, and 0 are my favorites, but 1 and 2 are good as well, and I have warmed up a bit to 4 recently. As for divided, I will really only find that funny once I start finding coprophagia and tentacle rape enticing. Ah well. :}

A good friend of mine showed me 3 years ago. I didn't even like anime at the time but I did enjoy it very much, especially the titanic scene. I also think he made a few amvs himself, but I can't fine the only one I remember which was Full metal Alchemist with Pretty Fly for a White Guy.

It was about 4-5 years ago (Can't be to sure) and I had noticed that my best friend frequently watched amv hell on youtube. after about 3 weeks of watching him giggle at the same jokes over and over again, I decided to watch it. I thought it was hilarious. I went through and watched all the ones that were available at the time (Which I think was up to 3) and at some point in late October of 2007, I saw AMV Hell 4. It had officially turned me into an otaku, cause that's when I really started to watch anime. I think I stumbled onto AMV Hell 0 a while after that. After watching 0, I knew I wanted to make a clip, and I had already done a few AMVs of my own at this point, and I knew /0 was coming out, so I used my trusty WMM to make my first ever clip. I think I joined a little before or after that, can't remember exactly. But I would check every once in a while for a hint of when AMV Hell 5 would be coming out and eventually saw the Minis were announced. It took me till EP 3 to get anything in, but that's my AMV Hell history, and here I am now.

around 6-8 months ago i was browsing for hentai in bonusporn.com there i found amv hell /0 it was a link to tinafix, it was unfapable but i laughed my ass off at 3 am in an empty house.ive rewatched it several times till i noticed another link to amv 0,also after watching it i was interested and craved for more,thus i found 1,2,3,4.after watching em **** knows how many times ive decided to look for the root and found this site,ive made an acount but never made a post,i was planning to show my apreciation for this amusement, i cant recall why i didint post... anywho after a while i checked youtube for a 5th version [randomly remembered it after watching code geass] and thus i decided to join this community noticing the minis and this mind**** of a place ive seem to enjoy enrooting.

3 years ago I was at a friend's house and he wanted to show me and this other guy something he said "Would truly blow our minds." We watched 3 & 4 and I've been addicted to it ever sense.

The first time I saw AMV Hell was on a school bus. A friend of mine (known as Snarky here... he almost never gets on, though xD) was watching it on his iPod (one of them 5th gen video ones with the red & black U2 color scheme) and he showed me the Perfect Blue/Power Rangers one. Loved it. xD

Eventually, I had caught AMV Hell fever, and was watching it CONSTANTLY. That would be why my AMV.org account (sonicdx36... shaddup, I was young xD) dates back to 2006, that's when I started downloading them. Never occured to me to get active in either community, though. I had gone to this website a lot, but that was just to download the videos.

Then, via twitter I had caught wind of AMV Hell 5. I was watching both the thread here and on AMV.org like a freakin' HAWK. And then, someone said "hey, why don't we stream it live and watch it as a group?" I knew I HAD to get in on that ****. So I signed up here and... ended up running the whole operation. xD

For the next couple weeks, I had become the live streaming guy. From there I made friends here and developed my own little posse ^^

For me, I found AMV Hell in the summer of 2007 with AMV Hell 4. Then, naturally, I watched Hells 1, 2, and 3. About the beginning of 2010, I found the AMV Minis and the existence of the AMV Hell website, where I found out about AMV Hells 0, CE, and /0. Then, I joined March 2010, and quickly got the stuff to watch the three Hells. Then I did decided to start making AMV skits. And I lost my AMV Minis virginity with the release of AMV Minis X2.

I was introduced to AMV Hell in post 2003 in High School by a friend of mine who was a hacker and Comp. Mod. This was during Multimedia class! At the time didn'nt have the budget or equipment, Programs etc.; to do so, let alone being under the rock without seeing any beyond AMV Hell 3, working on VGMV Apocalypze at the time and still do planning, take notes down. So fortunately I be able to simentaneously do a mini and the aforementioned project. (Cheers)

a couple of years ago I was at a local con and the sign in front of one of the video rooms that read "AMV Hell" I was walking with a group at the time and suggested we check it out, after the majority of my friends said "nah, that looks lame" I decided to ditch them and go check it out. Here I am, and I don't regret any of the events that I missed in that 2-hour period :P

For me it was long ago when we use to have a super small lan party at my friends almost every week and a few of us who got there early and set up use to talk anime and we started getting into amv's and downloading them from random sites and from animemusicvideos.org. One night we were on amv.org and started to type random stupid stuff in to see what we could find and we found amv hell and downloaded it and could not stop watching it all night and laughed our asses off. I have been a fan ever since then and have been showing them to all my other friends who never seen them. I lurked the site for years until I joined this year one late night and the first person I met was bambi. Now I have met many friends and enjoy talking to regularly and having post wars.
