I prefer Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 1 and 2 as well as Elite Beat Agents more. But that's just because I like original games more then fan made ones. Still is a nice update...I guess, I don't really know how this would improve the game unless you would have a large touch screen and play alone. Multi-player tapping (in theory) sounds like a bad idea if that was what I was watching.

Trust me the last thing you want in osu is a large input area anything more than a wrist movement is a waste and on some beatmaps will just exhaust your arm. The difficulties on OSU! go far beyond what the DS games could ever provide so you wanna minimize the distance movements as much as possible but not too small to the point where you lose accuracy especially on jumps.

OSU! has gotten to the point where it can no longer be played naitivly on a touchscreen without a secondary click button which is "ZX" on the keyboard by default... if you dont understand why thess vid's pretty much explains why.

Also OSU! Already has an implemented tag and co-op modes for multi but their turnbased as well as the standard head-to-head. What makes this different is the fact that theres another cusor is in play at the same time whether or not this is muti or single is still unknown.

Might as well try this game out too. If you have a Jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch or iPad then you can play Osu! there too but its worth checking out on the PC if you don't. Since its free and all.

The original games were meant to be played on a touch screen so it would make sense why a larger one could be easier.

I never said I had to have it full-screened, there are ways to customize it so I barely have to use even one hand if I would need to worry about resting my arms.

BTW why would that last bit be a problem? With practice cramping and fatigue is completely dissolved as an issue. Same thing with games like guitar hero. Only noobs get finger cramps, people who play a lot get over it and can play for longer and longer amounts of time. I would challenge you now but I don't have many songs so after I build my library a little your on. I love a good challenge in any game.

Course you could conform to playing like that but anyone in their right mind would rather choose the lesser of exertion, you wanna have fun not work at it not to mention the **** load of time it would take for you to get to an advanced playing skill level. Let alone if its even feasable to move your arm that fast to hit a 1/8th jump or 16th for double time on anything over 120BPM hell I can barely do it on a 4x4in play area.

Only reason I can play the full area is because I beat my dick all the time or maybe it might have something to do with playing for a year but it took me 8 attempts till I could pass that song XD

Compare the rate at which a hardcore FPS gamer picks up a new FPS game compared to someone who is less familiar with the genre of game. The time taken to learn has little to do with adjusting to controls with experience. And personally using a large touchscreen is way more fun then using a mouse or smaller device on this game. (I can easily be missing another input method here like the keyboard if that's used but I never take the time to stray away from whats fun and effective to begin with.)

Also using two hands on a larger screen helps a great deal. Also makes the game feel more artsy or epic in general. Kinda like how in the game "Lyric Legend" you can tilt the screen in many different fashions and touch the screen with as many different fingers as you want or just play the game by tapping with a finger...both are effective one just feels more fun to some people then others.

I can't lose when giving my own personal opinions on what I personalty prefer to do. So I can't lose or win. Havn't said a single statement thats not been what I feel about myself so theres nobody but myself able to prove or disprove what I have said. (Cept the FPS example thing. That CAN be disproved but its also biased on heavy truths about gaming.)


Also something I have wanted to ask for the longest time, how in the world is your avatar not banned? I really like how cleaver it is but I never thought it would be aloud here. I don't have a problem with it I REALLY don't but it just strikes me as odd that most sexual content is banned here.

Hell I had a thread going called "AMV Bloody Wet Dreams" with a picture of an underage girl (loli) who has wet herself and cumed blood like shes horny on her period. I think that would catch some attention if Zarxrax ever took the time to check through the threads.
