Not to be rude, but you should really stop doing this kind of thing with your clips. If your doing this in order to submit to AMV minis, you should get the judges views first and then go from there. That way, if it gets accepted, most people won't have seen your clip and the joke will be that much funnier.

The supreme vast majority of AMV Hell fans do not pay attention to the site or to individual video creators, they see the episodes pop up on YouTube, watch them, laugh, and go about their lives. I'm sorry if you think me letting people here see my videos and comment on them, makes the videos less funny in the long run, but that's just how I roll. I've done it this way since October of last year when I started taking this all seriously, and it's worked for me so far. I appreciate your opinions though.

Also, what I USED to do was as soon as I learned if a video was accepted or rejected I'd let EVERYONE know, and I don't do that anymore, so at least there's some mystery in not knowing which of my videos make it in and which don't.

To be rude, if your video is released beforehand, it will be declared a "previously used" video. Rejection is soon to follow. My suggestion is to do what I do and submit anything you make and have the big three (judges) be the content checkers for you. I just send in anything even if I know it will be rejected for one reason or another, just because. If it was used before then just send it to another video, there are many AMV Hell clones out there that would love your re-used joke clips as long as it's good. Hint hint, wink wink...

Or you can hold off on the one thread a week thing and give the forum a break from the Panda Attack.

But to be serious, seeing something before it's released or a second time diminishes the shock and awe of the first viewing BUT can lead to someone appreciating a video more. Double edge sword I guess.

If my channel was popular I'd be more concerned, but it's not. Even with my most popular video "Hellsing Ultimate: On Nom Nom Babies", despite it being on my channel before it was in the special Minis episode, the audience still loved it, because they hadn't seen it before, because like I said . . they don't pay attention to this site or individual video creator's channels. I've never had a video rejected on the grounds it had been already seen. HOWEVER I'm hearing everyone's concerns, and I'll strongly consider holding off putting any future videos I make on my channel until they've either been officially rejected or have already been accepted and seen in a Minis episode.

Yeah, there's always Paradise to submit your rejects too.
But as to the video it's self, I've never seen it used like that before. I didn't find it particularly funny though, to be honest.

To be honest, I don't find it "hah' hah'" funny either, I do however find it chuckle worthy and I wanted to take advantage of the fact no one had paired that scene with Thriller when that obviously was a Thriller inspired dance.

I'd call it more of a "appeasing the no-fun-too-serious-whistle-blowers" choice. I don't like how after over 8 months suddenly people have a problem with the way I do things. The fact that you guys haven't said anything and/or haven't noticed by now, kind of proves my point, that I wasn't hurting anything by previewing my videos. I'm not the only user who does it that way either, why don't you go pick on someone else?

I have like four projects running right this second but I guess your talkIng about the "AMV Artist's" video (That I have ****ing YET to get a good name for). In that case refer to the quote below.



I will take literally anything (except hentai) you have already created but I will also need an avatar or signature to put at the corner of your videos to show they are yours. (See AMV Hell 3 for an example)
I will think of a transition between artists or clips later when I get more clips.

AMV.avi will be set up like the other AMV Hell series is, CollaborAMV 01 (What Project Dynamite wanted to be) will be set up in a series of music videos type of style, Gainaxxx will be set up in a...wait...I'm not sure on that one, I'll have to ask Lionforce1337 on how we will be putting that together and the undisclosed one with that one member with "Fluff" or somethig in his name will be his choice. I will just be the one organizing it for him.

Busy busy, but I love this much work. Anyone need help with a project? I am great for getting stuff started, organized, credits finished and brainstorming ideas to make em unique. but actoually starting out the videos is something I have trouble with.
