just a question, but why does there seem to be an obsession with the Azumanga Daioh characters in all of the AMV Hells? O_o

Just my own conjecture, but I'd say it's because it's one of the best series out there.

I did notice quite a few Berserk! scenes too.

I admit, I was quite a fan of the Azumanga daioh series myself but it was a bit over-used in amv hell but something I can actually look over.

As for Berserk, seems about the idea of making one of the most violent animes and turn it to some light hearted melody, is something that was used for more than one parody.

Even though quite funny to hear "The Facts of Life" theme playing through it.

To be honest, I never even realized that we had so many azumanga daioh clips when I was putting hell 3 together. I probably would have cut some out if I had noticed the sheer number that were there.

Azumanga daioh is one of the greatest comedy anime ever created though, and its very easy to make a funny clip from it.

My opinion is that Azumanga Daioh is the easiest anime to use for this type of thing. Its easy because so many random things can be done with it, which makes it perfect for AMV Hell.

The guy above me's right. I noticed the large number of clips from the series, but it didn't really upset me. I like the animation from the series and seeing what people can do with it, but I will say if half of amv hell 4 is clips from Azumanga Daioh I may become a little irritated.

id have to say i agree with all of yall... it is a great series that can be manipulated so many different ways, but id say anything more than 10% of hell 4 being azumanga and like... im sure most viewers will be slightly irritated, lets get a great big majority of anime's in there! woot woot!

I have a suggestion onto what they should do for amv hell for this anime. Choose the top 5 or top 10 clips and put them in. But if it's a amv with "various" amounts of anime and Azumanga Daioh happens to be in it, it doesn't count. Just a simple suggestion.

cause it's so cute and innocent that it makes great comedy when putting them in situations like AMV Hell 0.

like putting Chii from Chobits singing "when i think about you i touch myself" from The Devinals to Sumomo.

I found this by mistake and it shows every single Azumana Daioh appearence in AMV Hell 3....thought it would be interesting...its almost 10:00 minutes long

I noticed that too, and I only seen one episode of that Azumigo Daiho thingy. I thought most of the clips were good but some could have been shorten. I don't wacth much anime so the only amv hell clips I could have totally gotten would be Full Metal Alchemist, DBZ, Fruits Basket, Hell Sing, or Naruto, and I haven't even wacth DBZ in a long while...

i watched AMV hell 3 before i watched Azumanga... show all threw out the show i was sitting there thinking up lil clips for it, and there was atleast one it each episode lol

I counted the clips and there are about 35 AzuDai clips in AMV Hell 3. I'm not sure I counted the Osaka cutscenes.

In any case, it should be the mascot for AMV Hell series. Make a promotional video or something with it as the primary anime.

Or, they could use it as a funny recurring cutscene in their largest AMV collection, and perhaps even build a variation of their website using Osaka's pointing finger pose.
