iv been lookin for a good anime for awile but cant find one i like or its to short so mabey someone can help me i want something like the good ones which are my fav's, Death Note, Code Geass, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya so

Elfen Lied (Lucy + Vectors = OVERKILL)
Azamanga Daioh (Very Random and Funny)
Lucky Star (EVEN More Random then Azamanga Daioh)
Death Note (1st Arc, least i only liked the 1st arc)
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (Very Funny. Can't wait tell Season 2)
Mahou Sensei Negima (Very Funny)
Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan (Do i need to say why)
Grenadier (Decent Show but Ending Sucked)
Haibane Renmeni (Shockingly it wasn't that bad. Decent Series)
Blood + (I think it is good. Subbed Verion Only. The Dubbed Version was very badly done.)
Chobits (Funny Show so far as i have seen.)

Anyway, I'll answer your question. You seem to be looking for smart and mature anime that happen to be a bit bloody. May I introduce you to both Monster and Baccano!.

I won't reiterate the descriptions, except to say that the Baccano! description leaves a lot to be desired.

I honestly believe that you will like both Baccano and Monster if you liked Death Note and Code Geass.

Ooh! I've always wanted to see if someone could make a good show based of off Mahjong (since I play so much of it). Now I just have to wait for them to do "mancala" xD. If someone can make a mancala-based anime (or any other form of TV, for that matter) actually good enough to keep me interested throughout the whole thing, I will be amazed and happy.
