Well, I just went to Anime Boston for the second time last weekend. I was wondering if anyone else has been to one, too.

I made this thread for... anything, really. I was thinking videos of masquerades, funny stories, cosplay pictures, and, best of all, AMV showing discussions.

I personally think that the Kingdom Hearts video should NOT have won "best of show"...

You live in Sweden, right? I'll bet you anything they have them in Germany, at the very least... lots of anime gets translated into German.

if you live in Europe it is easy to travel to other EU countries. The only thing you need is some kind of identification. Then just buy a ticket and lulz...you in an other country :O

I've never been to a con before. There was one at the college I go to but I couldn't make it because I had to help out my dad back home. Wendee Lee was supposed to be there but couldn't make it due to scheduling conflicts with Bleach. There was another one that was held near where I live when not at college but my brother wasn't willing to pay for gas to go there for the weekend. This summer I might finally got to a con by making it to Otakon but that still all depends on who they're having as guests.

Issitheus, I suggest... well, actually, think of it like this: Do a character that looks quite a bit like you. This will make your costume a lot easier to make, and it will look tons better. Not that you would do this, but there are far too many Narutos out there with black hair badly dyed to be blond. For example, I have a medium athletic build and wavy blond hair. So I cosplayed Syaoran, because it was easy to dye my hair brown and I have basically his height and build.
