Hey guys, I just finished RahXephon, which I liked a lot better then EVA, the characters were alot more likeable.

And at the end of the 26th episode it said that they were working on a movie that was going to be released next spring.

I was wondering if it was out, and if it was, if anyone had a link or a veoh search for it. I don't know when the series ended do I don't know when 'next spring' is/was.

The ending, like in EVA was a little confusing (old man body transfer, the general ending- the world returned to normal?, what happened to the rest of the MU, why did the Ayato thing have to fight the Quon thing [I think I know why, I just want it confirmed], and the whole reporter killing Barbem and himself in the chuch... ) , so if anyone could help me out, that would be greatly appreciated.

The old man and the nasty womans' souls were exchanged; it's never explained how. Basically after attaining god status Ayato altered the world by making it so the Mu War never happened (thus undoing the separation of him and Haruka). He absorbed Kwan, or at least her soul, in the last episode and at some point during the time between the last episode and the brief epilogue got Haruka pregnant with her.

It's been about a year since I watched the series, so that's about as in depth as I can go. Wikipedia articles are generally good sources with confusing endings.

it is awesome because of how he changed things.

Not awesome because it made a lot of interesting characters stop existing :(
