The Mask is amazing, a cherished childhood memory. I couldn't bring myself to see the second one with Brendan Fraser, I hear it was terrible and I could sort of sense it immediately.

Otherwise, I heard Quantum of Solace was "Meh," not great in the scope of the other Bond features, but I have yet to see it myself.

Last movie I saw in theatres was Passchendaele, it was incredible. It's not as cool if you see it and you're not Canadian, I suppose, but it was still a very powerful and enjoyable movie. Patriotism notwithstanding!

That because it was a artsy fartsy film that was "unheard of" and the such the press liks the sappy story crap and all but the entertainment value drops as sappy story goes up

BTW i just finished watching speed racer......... It could have been better for sure get rid of the Spridle crap and keep up the action. the best part of the hole movie is the racing shots and the song in the creds that's all i mean it me as a speed racer fan of the old show my dad watched as a kid and shared that with me I was very dssoponted with most of it it.

as i said it was unheard of to the max so to say in story and as i said the sapper the story the entertainment value gos down there is a very small balance point between a good movie and a bad one sadly... take speed racer (it's still in my mind) even tho it was an anime they made the look like a Dr soose movie in color and look of things, the spridle stuff was far too.....Disney channel BS for anyone's liking and that's probly what ruined the movie at the start, the racing seans were good but the clips were too short at times even I was like "what just happened?" and for people that had never seen the old cartoon would be confused on the story and just simple stuff so mom was confused and those that had knew speed only raced speedway tracks and road rally's and that racer X was always there just to keep speed safe so dad was a little confused there and 1 thing I hate is to explane the movie to mom and dad at the same time so i couldn't enjoy the movie as well me as an editor can appreciate the race seans on how much work went into making those seans so well anyway im glad i just rented it to put it simply

I highly recommend both to any sci-fi geeks out there, though the first one might be abit painfull to sit through, the book is MUCH better...the second one has cold war ruskies, which obviously makes it better.
