So i can add features and sutch. the blue-ray format menus are pretty awsome. im doint dva as well. so people can choose. besides, like u said, i can fit all the movies on 1 dvd. verses mutiple dvds. and the HD format is just so it will desplay better on the newer, larger hdtv's.

Let me put how I see it. Someone makes up a mascot, it's get approved by the community, and when we have a strong relationship with the character, it's gets printed on the shirt. I don't want a random anime loli on my tee. It just kills the point.

For it to be something origional, we need to aggree an a design. besides, what you are saying kinda of applies to the corn, which the character we are creating will be holding. personaly I really like the idea of making her an otaku. and having the AMV Hell logo on her shirt. I also like the idea of her holding out a cob of corn. I picture her holding it out like she is pointing it towards you, and smiling... or maybe grinning an sinister grin. or maybe she should be holding the corn towards the sky. idk. i got a couple of ideas. but I need you guys to help with the details.

Also we should decide what her personality will be - more naughty or more clumsy type? Her outfit should reflect it.

I have a friend. She can draw. She has seen every AMV Hell. I showed her this thread. She looked at what you've said you liked/wanted so far, and says that she will draw concept art for AMV Hell Girl free of charge. She will attempt to emulate the styles everyone says they like, but it will not be exactly the same. I'll keep you posted, yes?

I am very glad you have decided to help us out. but like Issitheus said, this isn't exactly your style. so even if you work were to not come out quite right. its still a great help to us because it gives us a point of reference for a future commission if needed. i like the cloths a lot. and that appears to be pocky in her mouth. i like that.
I like the idea of her having cosplay items. as for shy, yea a lot of otaku are shy when confronted with subject matter they are not comfortable with, but i think when regarding anime and manga, she should be a little more enthusiastic. see if you can mix corn into her person some how, if you can, i don't know how it would be done exactly, subtle would be good. but if you cant think of anything its not that important, just an idea. also maybe we could put the amv hell logo on her shirt. or have her hold an amv hell dvd or so on and so forth.

and thank you again for your help. i can tell you honestly that with out you rough sketchs to help visualize ideas. we woudl probably get nowhere.

Actually, I had an idea... if AMV Hell Girl takes off, we could do a series of them! Basic ideas for names: Heru-chan, Minni-tan, and the twins Remi-chan and Buri-chan.
Heru-chan has multiple personalities. She changes appearance based on her current personality. Each one is based on a different Hell.

well guys I think that longer hair, black with 1 thickish red stripe down the hair and then thin lines of red here or there too would be sweet. I think part of her bangs should almost cover one eye, and it could be like one of those moments for some pics of her where like the eyes become stars and angry lines squigl from her head and she has the huge mouth and sharp jagged teeth... I am trying to picture her well done and then in an anime moment where she looses it, or gets excited about soumething so the over dramatic view of her ensues

I don't know about you guys but I would buy a shirt if all it said was AMV HELL, big on the back and small in the front in the same font as the intro to the amv minis. Woah I said I wasnt finishing that corn graphic till there was a need for it. Now yes I can make T-shirts but not on a large scale I have vinyl cutter and can also do polyester sublimation printing. I dont own a silk screener to do large jobs so I can only do small custom works. Zarxrax is better off finding a company thats willing to do the job at a decent price and Ill be more than happy to finish the graphic work.

even If I did make the shirts they wouldn't be cheap cause a 24" roll of heat transfer vinyl isn't exactly nickel and dimes as opposed to a silk screening process on a mass scale and on a side note polyester sublimation only works on white polyester shirts, mouse pads, coffee cups. shirt cost would be about 15-20 bux +shipping as long as it was kept under one color. If your wondering what heat transfer vinyl is? Its the same process thats used to put lettering on football/basketball jerseys.

Thats up to the big cheese if he wants to do T-shirts as far as I know the whole idea died. Other than that I have no say in the matter I just draw & fap XD

Actually I take my last statement back, I been out of the T-Shirt game for a while and I re-ran price numbers for heat transfer vinyl and can do it at a material cost of 20 cents per square inch. Which is pretty damn good for running no more than 4 colors and still keeping the final price under 20 bux with shipping included in the price. Since this is a small community I can do the shirts as long as its not an astounding number of orders. somewhere under 100 shirts anything over that is more work than I can handle by myself because it does require more labor than silk screening.

Sometime over the week I might pull press out of the garage and redo the site logo then press out a shirt to see how it turns out with all that goofy font.
Whether Zarxrax claims "AMV HELL" with the exact same font type a logo or not doesn't matter. I still need permission from him to distribute T-shirts plastered with it as it can still fall under intellectual property of an organization logo when ever he feels like it while apparel isn't copyrighted logo's ARE.

J-list's T-shirt prices use to be crazy with shipping slapped on, I wasnt gonna pay 30 bux for a shirt I can make myself at half the final price so I said **** it remade the shirts.

The ones I did here are about a year and a half old and held up pretty good but the vinyl's starting to crack which is normal with age plus I used the cheap **** I had on hand, The red I had was too dark for black so I replaced it with silver.

Thats plenty of time, I got permission to do the shirts so its all set If everyones ok with that. I'll finish up the designs I started and post them here to see what can be agreed upon.
