Books (or webcomics in this case), good, bad, or weird cannot be left unfinished, it leaves the story hanging off in limbo and that's worse then a death sentence for a story... endings are important... even if they are forced (i'm looking at you claymore anime)

okay okay okay you seem to of somehow cornered me on the internet, good move very sneaky...

the results of the last time i was this active hmm... lets see it involved about 3 liters of coca-cola, 23 hours without sleep, and ended with me ranting about plundering ships on a vast ocean of sand to kill their crews and distill there bodily fluids into water to prevent dehydration of my own crew... followed by a rant on why weapons with cutting or impaling edges would be detrimental to the process as blood would be lost due to the cutting and then i had to explain that the ballistia i planned to attach to the front of the ship was for disabling and boarding other vessels and not hunting sandworms cause that would be insane, i'd need a ballistia at least 7 times bigger for that...

i should probably note that i was brain storming for a new gurps campaign at the time...

needless to say, the mental state i'm in at the current moment tends to be my most creative side.

Well, i feel like i owe the world of hell an explanation for my foul mood yesterday, so here's my best attempt at it.


It started when my brother's friends came over. My brother is Michael, and his friends are named Tim, Jon, and Dion (Kenji and Bob were supposed to show up and didn't). In high school and even my early college years, i didn't have much of a social life, and had few friends to speak of. My big "social" night used t obe playing MERP (Dungeons and dragons for dummies) with a group of guys i knew from my childhood, but i moved away from that group and lost contact. So one day, my brother decides he wants to follow my footsteps into nerd nirvana, and wants t oset up a MERP group in our new town. as the only experianced player, they asked me to be the DM. I did so for years, with the aforementioned group as my players, and it was a grande time. This group only disbanded when they all graduated high school, and went to various places for college.

Yesterday, the majority of our group reunited, and i was excited to see the group. Only thing was, i was excluded for the most part. I hung out with them for years as one of the guys, and i found my membership had been revoked. I've lost weight sine then, and while i'm not aerodynamic, i'm a bit more...curvy than i used to be. They hushed up when i entered, and would start up if i left... and that hurt. The Tim made the rape jokes, and i explouded. I went to my room to be alone as i don't generally like people to see me cry.

With my guard down, i had a lot of depressing thoughts. I was all alone now in my room, and i hate being alone more than anything else in this world. My borther was a lifesaver im early years, and my mood grows through the roof whenever he's near. and yet, in my sadness, i took i nthe fact that he goes back to Washington DC and his girlfriend this tuesday, and i likely won't see him again until Easter, if at all. There's still this looming threat of my dying before August, and all.

I felt terrible, and useless. As i lay there crying, icould hear them all downstairs talking of thier futures, of thier girlfriends, and how great thier lives are. and i couldn't help but hate myself. what' my future look like? These kdis are graduating college with and have jobs out of college that pay better than any of the career's i've tried my hand at. that i've failed at. they talk of thier love lives, and i can only miss abyss, who has near vanished off the face off the world under the pressure of school. i blame myself for being so dumb as to flunk out of school, i blamed myself for being so ugly that my own lover can't find time for me. all i can do is play video games and make internet posts...is this how my life is to end? living in my parents attic, a parasite to the world who took and took without ever giving anything useful back? my existence is a cruel joke, and sometimes i think it would be better if i do die. even if i do live, i have no future prospects... no job, no skills, poor health, deformed body, no...purpose.

hell, my lawyer even says if i survive the year, i may end up going to jail for credit fraud. all my surgeries and medical tests are not covered by insurence, and to pay for it i'm using a credit line i had when i was the Editor in Chief for World voice. yet i don't make any money to pay off the debt, and there is supposedly a way that could be counted as fraud as i'm spending money i can't realistically pay back. is that what i'm fighting for, trying to live for? to go to prison?


These are my demons, the ones i keep locked away.

I never knew that you had health problems. What is it that you have that you could even die of? I feel kind of bad for you. Maybe I could send you a fanfiction to make you feel better. Are there any specific kinds that you like? I know it's odd to send someone a fanfiction for this kind of situation, but you can't exactly send hot soup or something like that over the internet, can you?

Well, when i was born, i won the "birth defect" lottery, and i couldn't even name all the problems i was born with. then to make things fun, i cracked my head open and nearly died when i was two. i lived (duh) but recieved brain damage for my troubles.

fast forward to now. my body is deformed, with parts it shouldn't have, and missing parts it should. my brain sends wrong signals every which way, and i can't remember much of anything. i've been having surgery after surgery trying to correct these problems, but things have been gone poorly, only aggravating my symptons. My body is fightign itself, and the doctors say my body's been through so much, it acts/responds as if i were ten years odler than i am; and that this alone will take a good ten years off my lifespan.

I'm going to be having a good 7-10 more surgeries before 2010 rolls around, and the doctors can't guarentee i'll pull through them. Of these surgeries, there are two BIG procedures where the fatality rates jump up on. If i can get through them all, make it 2010, then i should be in the clear for quite some time. This is the turning point, the all or nothing mark. I've been nearly bed ridden for 3-4 months now, and it' going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

Still, i have to hope it will work out. I'm not ready to die... most days. Death scares me, to be honest. Abyss mocks me for that, but it's the truth. There's so much more i want to do, places i need to see. I want to get married, raise some kids, see the world... i doubt i'll get to do it all, but i need to try.

So yes, my rant among rants. I don't mean to bring anyone down with this. I have had an...interesting life, so i can't say i didn't have my fun here, even if i do die. Most days, i can bear this burden, but i'm not perfect.

I am sad today. My brother michael has gone back to Washington Dc, and i don't know when or if i'll ever see him again. He means so much to me, and every holiday it tears me up when he has to go back. yet this year, it's worse, as i'm afraid i will be gone by the next family gathering. and the negative side of me says the next gathering will be my funeral.

i'm scared, lonely, and just...hurt. it's days like this i just want to give up, to just lay down to sleep and never wake up. my mother knew i would be like this (it happens every time he leaves) so she took me shopping today, and even spending money did nothing to brighten my day. being mistaken twice as a man disn't hurt either. also, having my surgeon call me at the store to tell me when my next surgery is didn't help my mood (January 20th, for those taking bets on when i die).

I'd give anything for abyss to call me right now, to cheer me up as he/she used to do, but my sweetie has all but forgotten about me. i can even type this here without worry, as he/she will not even see it. I can't help but feel he/she does't want to deal with sickly me anymore, and i can't blame abyss for that. i only wish...no, what thats point in wishing? if wishes came true, if a merciful God existed, i would never be in this in misery in the first place.

Vicky It's all right one thing i have learned in my years of taking chances with my life and stuff like that is "a 1% chance is still a chance never give up until you lost!" this is way off the side here but a story of mine that i got that quote from is back in high school in Idaho i was ganged up by 5 football players that I had "rubbed the wrong way" for too long in there eyes and wanted to beat down the atheist and football hater for good I held my own for 10 min and I was fillaly beat to the ground blood coming out of me from places i didn't know blood could come out from I was laying there and sommend the will to get back up 8 more times one after the other until the cops arrived to help out the moral was to me I had the chance to keep going and kept at it I would give up only if I lost as in died..... so keep at Vicky I don't pray but i will send you all my happy thoughts I have your back! and i bet everyone here does too! :)

everyone...thank you. i''m fighting back the happy tears now, and its a much better feeling than the tears i shed writing my other post.

my lot in life sucks, i know. i usually can take it with a smile, but... lately, i actually feel like i'd dying, as opposed to knowing the odds are against me. i've had more bad days as of late, the fear and depression wearing me down more than usual. up until now, i always was positive, that i'd make it through, that my life would turn around at last, and i could move in with abyss. things would be perfect. that dream is rapidly falling through my fingers, with abyss and i have more than our share of troubles, and my health looking worse. i always knew death was a possibility, but now... it feels like it's the destination and not a detour. like if i was on a train, "death" was a stop far off, but now i've made the last transfer, and can see it in the distance as i get closer.

i guess it's why i've brought it up more here, as it seems to be all thats on my mind of late (well, that and abyss). i try not to be morbid about it, but i can't shake this feeling in my bones that this it, the year i check out.

still, i'm really glad i found my way here. with most of my friends avoiding the dying girl, it's good to have people here than i can vent too, i can talk too, who care and comfort me. there are no words that can express my gratitude sincerly enough to each and everyone of you fine people... but know i do feel eternally grateful for your friendship and support.

after i finished writing the last post this afternoon, i felt immediatly better than i have in a while. far more relaxed too. with everything screaming "you're going to die!" in my head, i have not been able to sleep well of late. but i felt so much better after reading the encouragements, and posting, that i cried. it was very....cathartic. i felt so relieved, so well relaxed, that i curled into my pillow and slept peacefully for several hours. it was the best sleep i've had all week, maybe even all month.

so yea, thank you all again. i will do my best with the whole "not dying" thing. i can't promise anything, but i will try, you can count on that!

ok....so i go to bed last night thinking that my first class was my computer class at 11:15 am...so i set an alarm for 10:15....

well...i end up waking up at around 8 am....and my dad calls me....i pick up...we talk about me getting a meal plan....and he reminds me that today is thursday....meaning that my class is history at 9:15....not 11:15... :o...luckily it was only 8:15...so i had plenty of time to get to my class.... ::)

well i get to the room...and the door is locked...so i waited for a few min with some other people in my class....i see my drama teacher...and ask him if he could unlock the door...which he did....

so im sitting there.....few minutes later a teacher walks in....that wasnt mine...i have the same teacher as last semester for history....she rights on the board that this was a lit class.... O_O

a guy on my left asks the teacher where the history class was....she asked who all had history...and half the class rose our hands.....

Ok my sob story:
We have a computer in the dining room and one in my room (among others).
We have a modem/router built into one. My sister came home and tried to get on the internet in the dining room and it wasnt working, while it was working perfectly in my room. She calls my dad who tells her to restart the modem, which she does without telling me. Internet in my room stops working even after she restarts it. Now, the dining room computer works, but mine doesn't. And mind you, she told my dad that she HAD to do her homework online, and she has to do her homework immediately when she gets home from school. After restarting the modem, without even signing on to the computer, she goes over to a friend's house to play.

ISSI, i figured out what my title should be!

stemming from the fact that so far within the past 5 months i've managed to cause some sort of problem with a motor vehicle, i have been dubbed "Demolition Jim" by my family, lets just say, the Malibu and Cavalier are dead, really dead.

September: flat tire, not so bad in comparison
October: fuel pump died on cavalier
November: incident with malibu, its dead
December: head-gasket blows on cavalier, engine warped...
January: low speed collision, got rear-ended, very minor...

Now, back to my dilemma. We take suggestions for animes to show, of course. The member in question recently purchased a DVD of 4Kids' dub of Kirby. Of course, there is no Japanese language track. Every meeting, he asks if we can watch it at the next meeting. The thing is, nobody wants to watch it except him, so I don't want to show it. However, I don't want him to feel bad. What do I do?

That would be a bad idea. Like I said, he's autistic. It's usually best not to be too mean to them.

well, a few options:


1. you could bring in a selection of anime's to watch, and let people vote on the next series to start. that way, the choice is taken off your head, and he can figure out for himself that no one wants to watch kirby.

2. show a token episode of the show at the end of a meeting, and hope thats enough.

3. have a "special showing" of kirby on a night your club doesn't usually meet on, and show it then to get it out of the way.

4: explain to the person that you are trying to avoid using english voice acting in the club, and ask him to find kirby in japanese. this should buy you some time, and possibly end it.

5: make up a story about how you don't have permission to view kirby from the company and/or 4kids. my brothers anime club requires them to get written permission from the shows owner (or something) to allow it, so it is apparently plausible.

6: make up a rule that the anime showed must be made in japan,and kirby is made in the US (i think. if not, lie).

7. tell him you suffered a tragic defeat at a SSBM tournament to a palyer using kirby, and yo uget flashbacks whenever you see Kirby.

8. explain how Kirby killed your parents, and you don't want to see his pink face ever again.

9. kill the student, and hide the body with his collection of kirby. it will be ruled "justified homicide."

10. cure autism, and he/she will realize how terrible a show kirby is.

i've known people on both ends of the spectrum, for the most part you just have to explain things in detail and sometimes a little slowly, and make sure they understand what your saying.

if i feel cold that usually means i'm sick. i feel sick looking at my calender as i go to have surgery next week.

i get worked up thinking of surgery. i keep thinking i should re-write my will again, to address the awesome people here, and then think i have nothing to really leave behind. and even if i did, who would really take the time to come to boston to retrieve some trinket i had left them?

i have come to the conclusion i don't like thinking, as i only tend to think of bad things (and sex, if you count that as bad or not). it's why i play video games and read books, to avoiding thinking. but if i never think, am i really alive? if i'm not alive, am i already dead? what would the difference be to me? to my family and friends? sure they would be a month of grieving but what then? one less poster on a site? one less chair my family has to set out on the holidays? who would remember me come a year from now? who would still care? in the end, what has my life amounted too?

I'm shivering, and i can't tell if it's from the cold or my thoughts.

being probably the least qualified to give advice to someone in your position advice EVER I'll just say it; life is to live for fun: sure it would probably be better if you thought about things but it's best not to if you wouldn't be happy. When it comes down to it I don't care if life is short as long as I enjoyed it. Sadly this advice doesn't work for those who care about leaving some sort of legacy; that's for people who care about living a life of meaning: The 2 are polar opposites and it's not possible to truly achieve both.

that's not bad my dad has one of those it just makes you breath in your sleep some people stop breathing wile they sleep kinda like holding you breath under water you just need the air tank to keep going anyway

and Odessa's #1 choice would be the best I think you don't HAVE to see Kirby and it wasn't your choice so you can't feel bad unless you make yourself fell that way in that case your a pansy haha

I sometimes wake up and i cant feel my arm. I can't move it or feel it for ****. Turns out I sleep so well i put my arm in such a position that cuts off the blood flow. then i have to like exercise it with my other hand in the middle of the night and take some VERY uncomforting pains when the blood returns... ugggh, makes me chill even when writing of it.

if the US would let me leave, i likely would. the only reason i would stay here for is my family. i wouldn't shed a tear if i left and never came back. Hell, when i was set to go on my trip to Japan, i had wanted to try set up dual nationality so i wouldn't have to come back. If not, i was prepared to renounce my US citizenship.

So, rant. Do guys realize they have it so much easier? After doing up my hair, filing and painting my nails, plucking my eye brows, moisterizing, putting on my foundation, lipstick, eye shadow, mascara, blush and fussing over my self for what seems like forever... it hardly seems fair guys get it so much easier. I have seen my brother wake up, throw on his clothes, and just GO. no shower, no deoderant, no make up, no prep waht so ever. i mean this nicely:
